I suspect Dad is having the time of his life. No doubt, during the course of his life, he has seen tough times but here he is with all the gear working on a pretty complex project with his two very capable sons. Has every reason to be proud and well deserving of every sense of accomplishment that comes his way. Pleasing to see good things happen for good people. Enjoyed the video.

Thanks for another fantastic video Welkers!!!!!
It was interesting and informative and most entertaining for sure. Wow.
Scott, the piece of steel in your arm. Using the magnet to show off the piece of steel in your arm was neat.
I saw a reply which indicated that Dad, or Bob, did a bit of doctoring, and you where able to get the piece of steel out with the magnet once the doctor opened it a bit I am guessing. Good work everyone!!!!!
Your Dr license is in the mail. Thanks!!!!!’
So glad that Scott’s arm is better!!!!!!!!!
Now back to the truck. I am always amazed at the Welkers. If you need a part and can’t find one, then you all just make it yourself. Just amazing!!!!!! All of you are so talented.
Need a new truck, just step aside and Welkers will build it for you!!!!! Fantastic!!!!!!!!
The driveline pieces and redesigning the shifter system and redesigning the fan system and redesigning the turbo hookup and the radiator attachment pieces and The List Goes On and On and I AM TOTALLY AMAZED at what you are doing to get your truck built and running!!!!!!!!
Neat job on the shifter to make it work with the dash knobs and so on. Looked great when you were done Nick.
Scott , your work with the lathe and associated equipment is just awesome!!!!!! You make it look easy when in reality, it is not. You are very talented in this arena Scott!!!!! My compliments sir, and I say sir, out of respect!!!!!!!!
Getting close to ready to turn the switch. Yeah!!!!!
I noticed while watching this video, that you had just over 18,000 viewers!!!!! Wow!!!!!
    Unbelievable!!!!!!
Guess I had better close this comment. Probably running out of space-ha!!!! I write out of the Respect I have for the Welkers, Bob, Nick, Scott!!! Colby also.
Thanks for everything. Outstanding video. Can’t wait to see it run. Take care.

Those were two very cool projects you used to start the video - correcting the shifter angle and the spacer you made to bring in the other fan they show the kinds of different skills farmers have to develop so they can make farming work financially. Those skills were evident to me as we farmed when I was a teen there in Montana. It showed me that I had design and engineering skills. I admire your "sticktoitiveness" in these projects. I have my own collection of metal and parts yard (much to my wife's chagrin). I LOVE watching you guys do these projects.

Hi guys. Love the channel, and the humor. I’m not certain about this but you might have a problem with the top radiator braces. The engine (motor) (hahaha) will move sideways when under heavy load but the radiator will stay static causing cracking somewhere. This might be why the original braces were attached to the firewall. Only a thought, it might not be a problem at all.

Also many mis-adjust clutch too thinking adjusting linkage rod only. This setup started in 1987 to 2024 model year (dec 31 2023) yes long run of that cab design. Set throw-out bearing to clutch brake at 1/2 inch. Then adjust free travel at 1 1/2 to 2 inches and then with pedal fully depress should be finger width off the floor (the bend in clutch pedal rod). If it goes to the floor or you hear it hitting something metal its hitting frame rail. Then its junk clutch box (bell cranks and linkage rod) and most likely bad front cab mounts. If any of bell cranks or linkage bad inside clutch box you will wish you did them before putting transmission in. NOOOO we don't change clutch box out its hucked in place when cab is built. We change out bell cranks and pins. Yes I have change whole clutch box and it's impossible to huck it back in place. You end up using bolts and thats fun too.

You will actually find that the air filter under the hood will plug faster than the external filters. My old 379 i had I'd change air filters about twice a year, the 386 I have now you have to change the under hood air filter at every oil change.

I was thinking the same. I would think vibration on rough roads would be a problem.

My 07 International 9400 has a single air cleaner under the hood like that in front of a 565 Cummins and it does just fine.

Leg arms, you’ll know if that sliver of steel is still in there if you have to get a CT scan. I have a sliver right below my elbow. It got unpleasantly warm. Dig it out if you can.
    Thank you for the video.

What you call a motor is actually an engine. I taught this stuff and worked with mechanical stuff for 60 years. The engine is a power source like a hydraulic pump which drives a hydraulic motor.
