This is one of the most underrated guide channels. These are all fantastic. Delivery is concise yet through. Style is simple yet informative. Having the bird's eye view of the whole fight with the step by step animation of the fight makes these really easy to understand and follow!
These guides are awesome! Much better than those "guides" that only show their clear and only useful for that one point of view. Keep up the fantastic work!
Those guides are useful in their own regard Those show in real time how people do the mechanics, which means you can *see* how people do the mechanic This guide simplifies it in a way thats easy to digest, making it easier to *know* the mechanic details
I watched your p1s and now this one I just wanna say, these are by far the best guides I've seen not just for ffxiv, but any end game content in any game, I can tell its very important to you the accuracy and quality of your content and I'll come to you for any and all needs ffxiv. u da goat gangy.
@@HectorHectorson no apology necessary, I'm sure it's a lot of work. Thanks for the heads up, we just cleared P2S last night, so this is perfect timing for my static. Thanks!
We'd been just having our melees wait to move to their spot until the debuff timer gets to about 2s, but cardinals would definitely make this easier for uptime!
Great guide! Only thing I would change is at Kampeos Harma, change the shapes of blue and purple and make blue squares and purples triangles. Some people tend to find them similar in color so the shapes help differentiate each other. :D
Thank you for the guide. Managed to clear it within a single PF without causing too many wipes (there are 5 persons who have cleared the fight already).
Your guide seems very helpful, I’ve been trying to clear P2S for awhile now, but I haven’t had any luck. Mainly I struggle Predatory Avarice (mainly because I don’t see the marker on my screen I’ll probably have to enlarge to LARGE AF, because my eyesight is shit) and Kampeos Harma and Channeling Overflow, but especially Harma. I can’t really blame people for leaving or getting tired of playing with me, because it sucks when you get so close to the end and there’s always that one person who screws everything up and causes you to wipe which is me. So I’m going to try and watch the guide more and join a practice party and hopefully one day I’ll get the clear.
Mistakes happen; as long as you persevere you’ll get that clear! For predatory avarice, I always find it easier to look at the party list to see who has the debuffs, perhaps that will make it easier? For Kampeos, if you’re in the tethered role, make sure you’re behind the grating at all times. My guide shows players a bit too near to middle where you’ll likely get clipped by the head. Good luck getting the clear!
It will stay the same while the water is high, but it can change the next time the water goes high. Any positions for slides/spreads will need to be relative to where the unsafe corner appears.
Great vid, but issues for us colorblind ppl. I have no idea what you mean by blue and purple. Can you call things like this squares and triangles in the future?
Still doesnt understand, how much distance need between 1 and 3 and 2 and 4...? Because last time I were standing on the square floor grate I died oneshotted by the dash at full health...
My diagram is a bit outdated. You want to be BEHIND the grated section in your corner to survive. Being stood on the grating will likely lead to you taking too much damage and dying. Be aware, if the player before you was positioned to near to middle, you will die regardless of how far back you go.
Heyo, thanks for the guide. I have one question. My static and I got to the Kampeos Harma mechanic and I, as a samurai, got oneshot by the boss dashing to me as number 2, even though I was standing on the spot the guide shows and me having 582 ilvl. How do I avoid this, do I need to stand further back because I'm not sure that was really possible without getting the person behind me hit. Real annoying honestly.
Isn't Spoken Cataract supposed to hit where the red arrow/head is pointing to, while Winged Cataract hits behind it? The showcase at 7:59 seems to be correct.

i love these slides, this is the best way to show mechanics versus just pausing a PoV and using mouse pointers.
This type of guide helped when doing flood ray.
Monke brain approves of picture guide. Monke brain understands the theory now.
What a great guide. Super clear communication as to what is what, without any overcomplications.
finally a guide maker that makes guides without BS. Thank you.
new kid on the block with FFXIV guide. fast out. love your work. I love that you explain the mechanics with diagram instead of footage
Really love this style, and your commentary is perfect. Gives just the right amount of info at just the right pace (for me personally).
I got to admit, I keep coming back here for reference during the prog. Pretty helpful 👌
This is a well made guideline. We appreciate the work you did for us and I hope to see a future guideline for P3S soon. Thanks again!
Clearest winged cataract explanation I've seen. Thanks a lot.
Best guide by far, clear, informative and relevant!
I’m loving how clear and concise this guide is. Keep up the good work!
You are amazing! This helps me so much more than showing the gameplay itself ! Thank you and please keep it up

These videos are making my trek through savage a total breeze, thanks!
Great job of explaining and illustrating how to resolve the mechanics, this was very helpful.
Possibly the best guide out there, keep it up brother!
Another fantastic guide!! Thank you so much!
Subbed and hit the bell. Excellent Guide. Please keep making these!
This style of guide is excellent, clear and concise, no BS. Can we expect a guide for P3 coming soon? (Wishful thinking)
Glad you found it useful. Just uploaded my guide for P3S; sorry for the delay!

What an amazing guide, if I somehow clear this... It's all cos of you my man.
3:45 consider cardinal positions instead so boss remains centered for longer allowing for maximum uptime
highly agree, sit behind the grates just before the debuff goes off and it's fine
We'd been just having our melees wait to move to their spot until the debuff timer gets to about 2s, but cardinals would definitely make this easier for uptime!

Best guide ever PERIOD
Really really good guide. Waiting for P3S one!
this is amazing! looking forward to the next 2!!
Ooooh my god thank you for the chapters
Simple and clean. I like it
Love this. Instantly subscribed
This is a masterpiece of drawing! I only miss one little thing that would make it perfect and that is:
🐴
if you keep doing this I will keep coming back
Great guide, 10/10 boss avatar
This guide is great
Amazing guide
This is an EXCELLENT GUIDE!!! Thank you :)

Awesome videos
These guides are amazing! Sadly I only do ex content for now... which if you ever decided to make current EX would be so awesooome
TY love ur vids !
Wow this is so awesome 😎
This fight is O12S phase 1 and E3S's lovechild lmao
Lovely guide, I really like your voice too :)
Thanks
thank you
Is the corner that gets blocked off and covered in water, always the same? (in your guide it was "B")
It will stay the same while the water is high, but it can change the next time the water goes high. Any positions for slides/spreads will need to be relative to where the unsafe corner appears.
Guide is great, wish people could follow it.

Great vid, but issues for us colorblind ppl. I have no idea what you mean by blue and purple. Can you call things like this squares and triangles in the future?
Thanks for the suggestion! I'll definitely take this into account for any future videos!
what a savage, making B+2 blue and C+3 yellow xD
IT IS!! i was so confused xDD
It's an odd choice to use dots for both purple and blue when they are square and triangle in the actual fight, would make it much easier to memorize.
Why not start off at D (assuming B is unsafe) for Kampeos Harma?
That way no one has to run more than half a turn around the arena.
God that last cohesion is killing all my groups i try to save so many mitagations as scholar but its never enough
isnt there a tank tether during the 2nd Channeling overflow? I didnt catch a mention of it
Yep, you're right! I mention how to deal with it at about 9:20 in the video (needs to be the long debuff tank who takes it). Hope this helps!
Hector what if I pop?

The guide spot is a little inaccurate. You need to be stood behind the grating, as the aoes from the head are very large.
Good Guide! Only one thing, the cast at 7:59 says winged cataract, but thats spoken. Thanks for the Guide!
Good catch!
Isn't Spoken Cataract supposed to hit where the red arrow/head is pointing to, while Winged Cataract hits behind it? The showcase at 7:59 seems to be correct.
@Baby Fats Ah, that makes sense.
seriously what is the blue bar at the top left meant to signify
the boss' cast bar.
There's no positioning for this boss right? riiiight? * sweats in melee *
0.2% enrage.... instance failed... time out
The endlish?? pls make winged & spoken cataract in a simple more clear lingo.
Visually, these guides are excellent. I am unsurehowever, why the narrator sounds annoyed when explaining mechanics.
