Fajo, when the Data fell.
His BEANS unfurled
That’s so funny I did the Peter Griffin laugh.😂
I bet the minute Fajo's guest leaves, Data's dancing around singing "Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal...""
But he didn't have a cane and tophat
Very good joke, my friend
i LOVED that cartoon!!! Thanks for the memory.
“Check, please” 😂
I hope that's on a blooper reel somewhere...
Worf FINALLY gets to sit down.
Knowing Worf, he probably thinks the pain in his feet build character or something.
I'm pretty sure he would say something like "A Klingon Warrior does not need comfort."
he truly get to sit down when he commanding the defiant, with sisko permission of course
He has BEAN waiting a long time
With his beans... 😆
Riker: "How do you like the CONN station?"
Worf: "Comfortable chair"
"Behave normally!"
Falling over when one loses their balance is pretty normal behavior.
The time Data chose to defrag his own system.
Data should have just done this when he realized he was kidnapped. "I'll be shutting myself down and activating a homing beacon now, toodles!"
Good to see that Data is fully functional at falling. A very useful skill in this situation.
2:00 "You'll regret this."
"Boyo, what can you do to me? Destroy me? Like I care and as if you'd DARE."
He falls well
"This is DATA. Formerly Lt. Cmdr Data of the Federation. The ONLY sentient android in existence!"
Lore: Just for that, smart@$$... let's see if I can use a subspace signal to help Data download a "lethal justice" component to his morality program.
Not to mention there should still be a whole planet of Androids from the original series episode "I, Mudd".
Lore having a "aren't you tired of being nice? Don't you just wanna go apes***?" moment with Data would be _glorious_ in this episode. 😂
Honestly a sequel episode where the collector FA&FO'd with Lore couldve been neat
Am I the only one who thought Picard handled his slip up with incredible dignity
A lot better than the Broccoli slip-up.
How does “my apologies” = “incredible dignity”? It’s was the standard response, and wholly sufficient and apposite.
@@crypastesomemore8348 A lot of men might have tried to avoid it, cover it, excuse it, but that's not Picard. He apologizes and moves on
No sir, you are not alone 🖐️🖖🖐️
Why was there no memorial service for Data? Seems like they have one every time someone dies.
I only wish Data had winked at Fajjo when he looked at him at the end.
The audience would be delighted about that.
The pearls might not be intact, but the beans are!
How many?
@@davecrupel2817 lots. Lots of beans.
This is the only villain in TNG I wanted to choke to death.
The actor did an excellent job of being evil and hateable.
Paging Darth Vader!
At night I fall asleep watching these on my phone and someday I fear I'm gonna wake up in the middle of the night shouting LOTSOFBEANSLOTSOFBEANSLOTAOFBEANS
It's impressive how Spiner fell like a mannequin. Rigid. I believe it's difficult to keep like that when falling.
I would assume that was a doll. The weight looked a bit low. (Although it was also too flexible for a mere shopping window dummy.)
@@Dowlphin honestly I don't know but that's the thrill of it.
It's him or a prop?
Because that was not quite as a common doll falling.
Well. Whatever. Cognitive biasing get out of my head
Having a soft break before hitting the floor and being able to practice ahead of time likely helped.
@@RandomAmerican3000 ok now do it. 😅😉
I dunno, I just remembered when I watched that episode back in the day I was like omg... There's no way to pause and rewind with this stream format 😅🤣🖖
The 0.25x speed clearly reveals he was a dummy
Very appropriate handling of his habit to assume data is there
Palor Toff was played by Nehemiah Persoff who will be 102 in a week!
Also TIFO Saul Rubinek was born in a refugee camp in Germany, just before his parents immigrated to Canada.
Persoff passed away April 5, 2022. RIP.
Fajo's friend actually picks his nose in the scene. I think he was trying to make Brent break character by laughing.😂
0:56 picking his "nose"
I mean… it was in the thumbnail as well…
Data had no emotions of his own, but as a student of humanity, he knew just how to humiliate.
Mister Worf looked as if he was going to cry ! 😮
that ole boy fell like a stack of beans
Reminded me of that singing frog cartoon!!! the one that clams up when being shown to others!!!!
Poor poor Worf
As serious and cool an episode as this is, more than half of the lines have me on the floor. The delivery was just... *chef's kiss*
worf prob prefers security station
Worf is an odd choice for Operations Chief. The perations officer seems to also have science officer duties as well...
@@ransom182 I can easily see Worf being very intelligent and up to any job. His warrior culture likely values intellectual challenges the same way as physical ones.
Picard doesnt depend on worf at tactical, always dismissing his ideas. Now is fully reliant. HAHA
Data falls, I say aloud "he falls well" and then the dude with holes in his face says it too. Absolute lol
“….the only sentient android.”
Lore has entered the chat.
best Gilligan fall ever !
1:41.....the strange dude was right. It WAS a mannequin!!!
Data's best Mark Zuckerberg impersonation
The metal ribbon in the guys, nose? I could not see anything else haha. You saw the one scene where he s ticks his finger in the middle hole, I wonder if the actors noses itched or something.
he probably just had a bean or something stuck in there
Quite the imaginative alien species attire style.
I like the way he picks his middle nostril
Data uses silent treatment. It is super effective.
Heh, I seem to remember this tactic from another show or movie. Can't remember where.
But if he is willing to play that kind of game, he could also smash his collection. I guess he is too gentle of a character for that crude approach. (Then again, he tried to bear-hug-takedown the guy earlier.)
He guessed that if he had been abducted, the other items were likely stolen too, and he hoped to return them to their owners. Which did happen. Or he recognised their importance as rare, unique things.
I was thinking of that as well. Smashing everything in that room. Except for the other life form- what was it in the glass cage?
@@debbie4503 Yes, very selfless.
But not as inspiring as one might think when you consider that Data got fearlessness hardcoded into his brain.
@@debbie4503The items probably have force-fields around them.
@@manjackson2772And unique is always valuable.
He appreciates that Data is specifically starfleet commander Data, but he didn't want him in his starfleet uniform? I don't get that.
H E F A L L S W E L L
Forgot the actor's name, but he played a great antagonist.
Come along VARIA! Love that part
Gosh they’re so weird
You would think as much as they said Data weighs there would be more of a thud when he fell. 🤔
that dude picked his nose on primetime 90's tv
1:55 Sideburns look weird.
Worf 😯😯😯😯
Rogue Trader showing off his prized Skitarii, m41
Just give the collector Lore. Easy solution.
2:18 she bad
Good old transporter room 3
Tricyanate must be incredibly dense to have a concentration of 70g per CC! Lead is only 11.4g per CC. So more than 6X as dense as lead
The densest naturally-occurring element, osmium, is a "mere" 22.59 g per CC. Tricyanate is some dense stuff!
Which would be more embarassing/sadder: 2:34 or 'Broccoli'?
2:34 is sad, "Broccoli' is embarrassing.
he keep most of his collection in a warehouse
Nehemiah Persoff.
When Fajo said "You'll regret this!", Data should've whispered, "Despite my lack of emotions, I found that quite... satisfying."
Would have made a better statement if Data decided not to dress for it.
Is Toff...picking his nose?
70 g / cm^3 ????
data have a hard disk very hard
Coffeebeans?
So why didn't data rush the door when it opened, this story doesn't make sense.
Force field
@@TentaclePentacle there was no force field, when the others came through the door, still doesn't make sense
@@jameshaywood878 you're weird.
And go where exactly?
You probably think you can escape from jail by crawling through the vents. @@jameshaywood878
1:14 Data's ears are not symmetrical.
I love that Mr. Data is enjoying a sniff of bubble gum at the very start! In other news, I am glad the collectors are talking about sex "idols" and not sexually enslaved women. The latter having been too often mentioned, and fetishized, by the fan-boys.
Beans on toast looks very disgusting.
Shut up Wesley!
And Data could have easily grabbed him and snapped his neck...good ol plot armor
Fajo has a personal shield that prevents Data from touching him. You see it discharge briefly as Fajo tries to push Data
But what about the visitor?
Is it fashion to make the characters look completely ridiculous?
Avantgarde fashion. Or just that alien species' rich people's style.
Data was acting like my wife did on our honeymoon
