Frakes has said in the years since that if he had been offered the directing job, he would have accepted. Whether or not that would have made a difference in the overall performance of the film, I don't know...but I do think things might have been slightly different. I also think that if Ron Moore and Brannon Braga hadn't had their falling out, things might have been different.
As for Worf being first officer, sound like the TNG relaunch novels might be for you.

In the Titan books, Worf was going to join Riker on the Titan as his XO, but with Data's death at the end of this film, Picard had no suitable replacement (since this was a deleted scene), so Worf stayed on the Enterprise as interim first officer until it was made official some years later. Geordi was also offered the XO job for both ships, but didn't want to transfer to the command track yet, and is now second officer of the Enterprise.

That's because having seatbelts is usually pointless in Trek.
These ships move at least at 74000 km/s at sublight... and have inertial dampeners to negate the acceleration and deceleration forces that would usually crush the crew.
Going to Warp alone would likely crush the crew without some kind of inertia dampening field due to rapid changes... and seat-belts would not matter in such rapidly changing conditions.
The fact that the crew doesn't get smashed to bits under sublight speeds with the inertial dampers offline is likely because some form of inertia dampening is still working... plus they have artificial gravity.
Still, I guess they might be useful in areas where hull breaches occur... but with superluminal processing, etc., forcefields would erect themselves instantly with the hull breach happening (meaning, no crew members should have flied off into space - hollywood just does it because they want to make things 'dramatic').

Picard tells him Perhaps u still might I doubt this will be the last Ship to have the name Enterprise, The Nemesis movie Should have had Picard have a flashback to where he tells Riker U have the bridge Number 1. he comes out of the flashback and tells Riker U HAVE THE SHIP NUMBER1. then he strolls out and we see a new Ship waiting and Picard is beamed onboard as its new Commanding Officer and he said WARP 1 ENGAGE, The name says USS STARGAZER in memory of the old Stargazer,

  • @CaptainSpadaro

The reason this was cut from the theatrical release was because they wanted to emphasize the battle with the Scimitar.
I also think that they didn't want to give the fans hope that there might be another film, as it was apparently decided during production that Nemesis was going to be the last TNG film.
This ending also partially references the scripted ending: the newly repaired Enterprise-E leaving drydock, and at the very least, the pull back in the last few seconds would have segued into the scene we saw in the film, with the ship sitting in drydock, still undergoing repairs.
