Because of the removed back seats. I have to find a way to trade my company ID3, i got yesterday, for this.😄
Nice. Your Shakedown Drive of Macan EV is eagerly awaited, especially the base RWD model. The RWD model could be an interesting one, as it has the same battery. Most cars reduce battery size for the base model, but it's good they kept it the same size here as in all other models.

@@Aggie4life77 2020 and yes, it is PLENTY powerful, but I understand if people want more power. The 4S is at the perfect power level IMO for daily driving. You rarely get any opportunities to put it to use outside of track or empty back roads. That said, go for the GTS if you want just a bit more kick, and the 2025 models new range, power and charging speeds are a sweet deal. If the GTS had been out back when I bought my 4S, I think I would have gone for it.

Finally some mountain roads in the alps! I hope this road gave you a taste for more since there are sooo many more amazing driving roads in the alps including some mountain passes. Both Austria and Italy is great since they have 100/90 km/h base speed and are quite relaxed with speed monitoring. Switzerland have some really great road as well but its a ⛔ for speeding.

As far as who this car is for, I agree that this is for the person who wants to track this thing and track it only. I’m specifically talking about this version in particular. For the regular GT, that is for someone who simply wants one of the fastest cars on the road that you can daily drive. I’m personally going to go for a used GTS. That will give me all the speed and range I need along with great handling!
In Europe, there are beautiful mountains and pretty little winding roads on them.... And they put a strain on the brakes and tires... Many EVs have poor brakes for the car's capability in the mountains.
Wait til this car gets the Rivian treatment. It should be more efficient, possibly faster, and will certainly have software that is EXTREMELY competitive.
I love this car, however, I wish Porsche and other manufacturers would remove GT from the name unless it truly i designed for long range grand touring which is supposed to have comfort and luxry for long drives. Removing insulating and having thin glass windows invokes more of a performance oriented vs. grand touring (GT) name. Secondly, my bigger gripe is that Porsche continues to use Turbo on a non turbo car. This should be reserved for only ICE engines with a true turbo setup. Porsche needs to come up with a new badge or name to indicate the top of the line performance EV model. The Porshce Taycan GT Turbo is great but the names should be different and reflective of the motorized platform and purpose of the car. I would suggest Porsche use Taycan UP (Ultimate Performance) name and badging for these high performance models and Porsche Taycan P-4S to replace the Taycan GT 4S model.
With the advanced electronics and EV motor control, you should be able to acheive higher acceleration G-forces and than braking. I watched a video where this topic was discussed, perhaps it was Engineering Explained.
Since Ferrari has it's first-ever 4-door, 4-seater Purosangue, Is the Purosangue a good, like-for-like comparison to this Tycan Turbo GT? Anyone with experience and knowledge of them both, please do share your honest opinions! EDIT: 4 minutes into the video and I realised the Tycan is not a 4-seater (the rear doors gave me the impression that it is a 4-seater)
