I do like the reviews but can't help feeling uneasy about how low you sit in the car. I'm all for personal preference but your eyes are almost level with top of wheel which is a safety issue regarding forward visibility (i.e. Kids in front of car)
You waisted 3 minutes going through figures. People can get this information from the manufacturer's website. What you can't get it is that how does can make you feel in terms of driving, handling, ride, comfort etc. and that is what you are supposed to spend time to deliver it to the viewers.
William Coutts it is the fr. On these the fr gets the red stitching (see the seat) and faux leather door cards, also the fr badge on the steering wheel. I'm going to drive an FR next thu, if the engine 1L dsg is up to it, i may go with the Exc Lux version. Over the FR. Also you have to get the leather dash trim with the Alcantara seats. I think both of them come on the Ex Lux. If they don't and are sill option prices, ill not bother. Edit- the seats and leather dash and doors comes on the ex lux. The leather also comes on the fr, and fr seats.bit they ain't as good ad the Alcantara leather seats in the ex lux. Ignore anything below FR.
I think you're right, the FR range has a black grill wear as the Xcellence range has the chrome inserts, by the way there's almost a 6 months waiting time for some builds 🤷🏼♂️ crazy!!!!
Paul Mace yes, i was told if i wanted a excellence lux, 3 to 4 months. Think tjis is cos they are new,and anything FR and over are going to shift. They are well kitted out and keenly priced. Under FR they look like crap inside. You need the leather trims and the nicer seats,plus the entry level dash and screen looks terrible. I don't actually understand the 2 entry level options, given they are selling this as a 'lifestyle' car (Read hipster). I'm the lesser specs, its just a poor car. With non of the good specs, a 100% hard plastic trim,poor seats and small engines, a screen that looks 10 years out of date, no arm rest (uesr really fr and up only) no two tone paint. Or limited two tone, at a price. All I'm all a bit of a turd. Save cash and by a step way if you want a cheap workhorse. I cant see the selling many in the basic trim.it probably exists to to sat "new Arora from £[whatever the price ]. But on reality, the real entry cost is about £3k more. If tour after cheap and cheerful,look elsewhere. The upgraded screen is very nice. I can take the small engine, but only if the other boxes are all ticked. It make a nice cheap luxury car, with all the toys, self-park, lane keep, blind spot, and a lot more.the sued seats are comfy it rides well, and makes a decent estate for a small car. Looks half trendy too. Android auto, apple play, and screen sync plus witless charging.(and an arm rest). Strangely no rear 12v or USB ports,however there is 2 USB ports in the front,and towards the rear of the centre console there is a 12v so is assessable to the rear passengers. No I'm not a seat sales man lol. Just quite like what seat is doing atm A cupra version would be the dogs....

On going grey with orange roof one thinks.maybe vis verse , but unlikely. Are to going for the 1 litre 3cly 115bhp engine witj DSG? I've been diesel for almost 20 years, all around 160 to 220, and all the torque. So this is going to be an experience if nothing else. It's the wife that's wants this, so in about 6 months, around Feb,i may have to get some form of warm hatch runaround to fill that itch. Thinking something like 2nd hand fiesta St, the 150 model should be fun enough,and for the first time im my life,i may get my hands dirty,and squeeze everything it has out of it.
