@@longdog67 Hell yes. I'm currently an MT-07 owner and I fell in love with the GSX a long time ago. Unfortunately here in my country you need at least 2 years of experience with the "standard" license, which has some power restrictions. As soon as I get the unrestricted license, I'll get one right away. Even tho there are some interesting naked bikes in the market, like MT-09, Z900, Z1000, CB1000R, Speed Triple RS I like GSX-S1000 the most. Gorgeous and powerful. Enjoy it man.

I had a 2018... I loved it so much.. I totaled it.. 😭.. I have an RSV4 now... I miss the GSXS1000 🥺.. It was more "steetable" and comfortable. GSXS1000 has the power and the poise to go anywhere! Most underrated bike on the market.
Did you do anything about the snatchy throttle when you had the bike? Also how did you total it & did you get hurt? Sorry for asking so many questions 🤥
@@flatlineoptimism2600 .. I had the computer flashed by Schnitz Racing. It helped, but I didn't think it was a huge difference. The exhaust was the biggest seat of the pants change. And my stupid ass was going too fast, went wide in a curve, and hit a car traveling in the opposite direction 🥺... I know. Incredibly stupid. Thankfully I hit a car that was already damaged... The lady was thrilled that my insurance fixed her already crashed car.. 😳
@@flatlineoptimism2600 ... AND ... I wasn't injured. Thanks for asking ☺️. Just bruised. I had on full gear. My knee pad was ate up. My knee would have been destroyed if I didn't have on padded jeans.
@@ReshardsAutomotiveWorkshop Wow. Good thing you didn't get seriously injured. I'd like to get one of these bikes but full coverage would be crazy expensive. It's a lot for a Z900, so probably more for this. I currently have a Suzuki Gladius. I might just try buying a liter bike on craigslist for around $4000 eventually.
Nice review dude , looking at this or MT10 , still got a k6 Suzuki gsxr thou , bad hip and back it ain't fun anymore ,so what's it like compared to the Zx10 r
A lot more comfy on the road, still fairly high pegs but the straight bars make it much easier on the road. More supple on uneven surfaces. Great engine like the k5 GSXR, I never rode a gixxer k5/6 but if the engine was like this, It should've been great.
MT-10 has better electronics and sounds better. The GSXS1000 is a no thrills comfy ROCKET! 😄 I had one (note the had).. It had a pipe and tune... it was faster to 100 mph than my RSV4.. It topped out at 160 MPH. I loved it so much... I will get another one soon.
