funny thing is, apparently a maneuvre around an obstacle like the humvee did at the end there is considered a special move (there's a few more, like the chess-horse-move), and made the crate vanish instantly. Too bad that doesn't already count as actually picking it up (because that's tied to entering the cell, not touching the crate)
Fun fact: this is the mission (specifically the Belarus one, methinks) on which ends the Twisted Dawn mod, a Tiberian Dawn remade within highly modified Tiberian Sun engine. They "fixed" the mission, too, so you don't win instantly by touching the magic box. Instead it gives your unit veterancy, and you still have to bring it back to the edge of the map. I'm still not sure if its at all possible, since the units are way too squishy, and there are way too many enemies in the way.
After some tries i completed the mission without reaching the town and not facing the tanks. When you reach the bridge and eliminate all troops on the way, it triggers a small force from the north.. kill them one by one and the mission is done. Good videos, keep up!
I read this tip on discord from nyerguds. Supposedly the tank AI doesn't go for the crush if the unit is adjacent but diagonal to the tank and if the unit is one tile away. that said, it's really fun to watch the buggies dodge grenades. Fun to watch, infuriating to have happen to you hahaha

When I did a run through the campaign - on normal, not on hard XD. I chose The Bialystok mission and couldn't work out where the stolen property was. Then I decided it might be a good idea to read the mission briefing :)
As a kid I was always slightly puzzled by the FMV following this mission as it has nothing to do with 4A or 4B. It only makes sense if you play 4BW (the one in Bialystok).
In the last mission there is a bug, if you kill all the enemies on the map before the tank appears on the map, you automatically get yourself the victory, maybe you can use that somehow.
Lvl 4 Bialystok, do not cross the bridge, the NOD units come by themselves when you are near the bridge and the mission is complete. The units in Bialystok are not counted.
so its either abuse ai aggro to fight one tank at a time or abuse the mission by not crossing the bridge, to even stand a chance on hard. what a shit game.
A big thank you to all who told me how to beat Reinforce Bialystok by not crossing the bridge. You guys rock!

When you skip forward 30 seconds to get past the cutscenes and realise you skipped the whole mission.
