CHALLENGE: Nod Death Squad - Destroy Everything (Command and Conquer Covert Operations Remastered)

Folks, my Nod Death Squad challenge is back in remastered graphics. Destroy every GDI infantry, vehicle and structure, not just the Advanced Communications Centre! Scorched earth!
If you take a look at the scoring screen you'll notice that I actually did this twice. The first vid's sped up part was quite nauseating because of the speeding up of the rapidly changing viewpoints via bookmarking. So in the second playthrough I made sure to stick to just one viewpoint. Sometimes not being pro is the better way.

I like to imagine the GDI returning to that base and driving past it by accident, and keep going back in and forth in confusion. "Hmm, there is no base, nor any trees here, did we miss a stop somewhere?"

I was seven years old when I first saw c&c. My dad tried very hard, but this is perfectly played. Gives me back the nostalgia with my dad, thank you RC!

It's been a productive day between you and another youtuber who play this. The other guy completed GDI mission 12a within a minute after the cut scenes
That 12a strat was first discovered by Andrew Ford iirc

Love your videos man. I was mad as hell at EA for releasing RA in such a poor state but I can forgive them because it produces this kick ass content.

Excellent work commander! I can't do this mission without killing everything any more, it effects my OCD too much, but can't do it without saving, the big sissy that I am lol. It's never occurred to me to knock out the evil GDI affiliated plant life either :)

Thanks. I remember you asked me last year if I’d be speedrunning RA2 and at first that was the plan but I got too busy unfortunately. If they make RA2 remastered I surely will though (and I’m pretty positive they’ll be making it)

Just kidding, I love challenge runs of old games since I did a Dungeon Keeper 1 run without using any Portal creatures.
That may visually be a cactus but in the mission script it’s not. Clustered plants are indestructible
I honestly finished playing dungeon keeper 1, 15 minutes before seeing this comment. I know the games meta, It's an awesome game, I'm going to try that challenge next :)
@@Rooistar some Missions start with an captured Portal. There are some txt Files in the game folders for each Mission where you can Set your number of creatures from Portals to 0.
Some early mission scripts break this way (getting a library) Just skip some Missions of the Challenge and visit them later

Fantastic work. I can understand why you sped up the video for destroying the walls, that must have been tedious! I always build neat and tidy bases with walls (which is why I’d suck at multiplayer) but not even I would build that many. And this base is like five times bigger than it needs to be 😬

With the map editor, you can effectively make custom missions. It would be interesting to see you design a mission that is challenging for yourself, then you could also make it publicly available.
I’m not a mission maker and some in the community are really good at that, but I might make some maps for unit vs unit comparisons

Okay, so to get 100% leadership and economy, all you have to do is take down an entire hoard of units without building a base, spending any kind of money, or taking a single loss. Not impossible, but might as well be.

I like both, but on Remastered the multiplayer has been shitty. I assume you're in Singapore (where I'm at) or Malaysia and if you've played multiplayer you'd experience the same stupid lag that I do.
