In the original Volkov looks like a swinging 60's super spy with colourful poofy shirt. In the remaster Volkov looks like generic villain sidekick #12.
@@TheCNCChannel That, and you can use a strategy that I learned about from you personally: Chrono transporting an mcv into the enemy base, building a barracks and using thieves to steal your opponent's money.
I love Volkov, he is so powerful ofcourse, but could they not code him consistently between the maps ... on Deus Ex Machina he is nigh immortal, on Test Drive he can be run over and swarmed by riflemen ....
@@TheCNCChannel Interesting, that could work if the missions are out of order, Make a Steal/Test Drive being the first I say that but TBH I always viewed the missions as questionable canon, you kill Tanya several times and capture a chronosphere afterall, and thats just the contradictions with the russian campaign!
Test Drive takes place prior to his conversion to a nigh-immortal supersoldier. Deus Ex Machina takes place after he received a significant upgrade following the events of this mission.
Do they just have ungodly high HP, or are they set to be 99.9% immune to all damage, or something else (and uncrushable like Shock Troopers)? Since Volkov is still one-hit-killed by dogs as shown in another mission. Though there is that _other_ mission where you're testing out the stealth rocket tank and Volkov is decidedly squishy there (and doesn't even have exploding bullets smh).
(Read with a russian Accent) Look thats just a normal Russian dude who drank a bit Vodka, making him so strong and fast that when he punches in the direction of an enemy ,moving the air so fast that it explodes the whole target, thats true russian power, but damn he no match for vladimir putin himself, have a nice day and drink vodka ,OUR Friend!
What always bugged me with this close-range C4 attack was that why them cannot use their anti-tank weapon to destroy the building instead? Sure, it would be slightly slower, but overall faster and much safer due to not having to walk there. Even more so with tibsun Stalker unit
Remastered Volkov looks like a standard soldier, sent to do a mission, with fear and purpose. Classic Volkov looks like he is bored, having a smoke, and waiting for the entire Allied base to blow up around him like the Joker with the hospital in the Dark Knight. Classic Volkov has negative fucks to give.
"Oh look! This guy and his dog were surrounded by explosive barrels that blew up around them and they weren't bothered! They can survive the blast of a building being blown up too. They have taken several hits from assault rifles and that didn't even tickle them. machine gun fire was like a gentle breeze to them and they were still standing after being shot by tanks! Not only that this guy has enough firepower to destroy our tanks and jeeps in a couple of seconds and his dog can jump really far and kill us instantly! Should we run away? Nah, let's get in their faces. What could possibly go wrong?"
Diese Mission ist ja nun offensichtlich keine Kunst, das spiel ich mit Badelatschen rückwärts und verbundenen Augen Wer hier scheitert, brauch gar nicht erst anfangen ^^
Remastered silos are full of latte.
"Insufficient Caffeine."
"My passion is latte-art but instead of latte I use industrial silos full of metal ore"
3:04 I'd like to imagine that the Ore Truck driver saw Volkov, gave up on life, and just crashed his truck into the cliffs.
Lol
Chitzkoi went off on his own adventure LOL!
Even got him/herself some prime rib a la Tanya (2:48)
Both comments here are 10/10

The improved graphics makes it much easier to see the Camo. Pillboxes.
Apart from the Chrono Tank the Soviets got all the cool toys. Tesla Tank and Shock trooper, and then Volkov.
Yeah, but the light Tanks are my personal Favorites...damn allies dont wanna share them...thats why we ne Communism! :D
It may not seem like it but the Allies are superior on many maps. Sovs may have the cooler weapons but they get overwhelmed early by lights/meds
@@TheCNCChannel on 1v1 yeah probably, but yeah depends on maps and (of course) on player

Can't forget those awesome Missile Subs!
Classic Volkov ftw
Ah yes Volkov. The first real Super-unit the player can actually control. :D
I thought it waa Tanya?
Even in original and remastered: Still Tanya killed a dog....Again!!!
Played it on ps1. As I remember there was a heavy cruiser near that shipyard.
4:45 Finally..
tony montana :O
If I remember right, in the original game you can destroy the alloy facility with Volkov by force firing in a certain spot.
Didn’t know, I should give it a try!

Volkov = Russian Chuck Norris
He fueled with so much Smirnoff he blow up two things at once like true Russian soldier.
Family: wants a dog
Dad: doesn't want it
Family: gets dog anyway
Dad and dog: Volkov & Chitzkoi
R.I.P. Tanya Adam

According to wiki at some levels he is still half human and in others he is fully cyborg

Ohhh, your pfp is Volkov! I was wondering which character it was!

Volkov is your UA-cam profile avatar, am I right?
✅
What is he armed with, a portable howitzer?

Regardless of weapon, the remastered explosion is just beautiful

just a quick question , why tanya die at the end? 2:48?
Volkov looks a lot like a commando from TD. I think his design was actually based on the commando.
Yup

Yeah this Mission is just not hard at all and yeah the Pixel Volkov has just more Character :D
OP duo😭
Tanya is weak. Volkovъ in our hearts comrade!
The dog ate Tanya......OMG...
leading the soviet war machine.
He's more badass than the Volkov in RA2/YR mods.
why did they even give health power ups in this mission?
The str0nkest w/o doubt. 😅
Is Tanya's death cannon in this mission?
The allied ending is canon so I don’t think so
*BANG BANG* "Give it AAAARRRRRGHHHHH!!"
Oh no you didn't... You dick, I loved her!

btw, are they showing volkov somewhere on cinematics? just curious, what he looks like "irl"
No, Volkov is in no cinematics.

I wonder what the Yorkshire Templar will say :)

This little story was a pleasure to read, lol
And once again I'm sad they went with Boris over Volkov and Chitzkoi in RA2 :(
They're return in Mental Omega
Theres another allied super soldier in mission paradox equation who is that? He has better fire rate he is weak to dogs though
I squished him in my speedrun. No confirmation on who he is
Starvoc. Commander
If I was you, I would have used Waste land. Fits this Mission better...

I will play every mission so no worries :)
