I always use the punch method. Some say it's less effective than a knife, but if you hone your chi to a fine edge, you can deliver the perfect one-two that will also cut through space-time and destroy all your enemies-and leave you with a perfectly cut pine-apple.

What I end up doing: cut the skin off (compost 'em but not everyone can do that) then that outer "rivet" part + the core goes into a big jar. Boiling water over that, and you've got a really nice flavored water once it's cool. Add some bags of tea before the water and you've got a fruitier tea. And thennnn I compost those.

My family uses those pineapple core-ers. They look like some "seen on TV" gimnick product that doesn't work, but they're actually surprising adept at their purpose! you just cut off the punk hair style, stick the thing onto the top and basically just screw it into the pineapple. when you reach the bottom, you pull out the pineapple, leaving the shell and the core, and you get a cool continuous spiral of pineapple that you can make rings from or cut further into chunks!

    Excellent video, that said....
WHY DID YOU NEED THAT MUCH PINEAPPLE?
Pineapples enzhiems break down proteins, so eating the (30?!) pineapples that it probably took to record this video could not have been easy on your mouth. That said, great video always loved your stuff.
    Keep up the good work.

2:17 my favorite thing about YSAC is that he will write a static electricity gag, decide the best way to achieve it is with one roll of duct tape, and then when it doesn’t work instead of thinking of a better way to achieve it or just cutting the 5 second clip from the video, the absolute legend decides to just keep it as is and play it off PERFECTLY

Y’know, I’ve seen so many people cutting pineapples but there’s this one question I have.
Do people not eat the center?
Like, I’m not judging or anything but is there a legit reason for this? Cuz every time my mom cuts open a pineapple, she leaves the center alone and we simply just eat with some salt. Of course, we mostly have the sweet variant so that could be the reason? Idk.
