Strong offshores, thick spitting slabs, on a shallow boiling reef and coral heads, cold water, sunshine all day, sea lions frolicking, and out in the middle of nowhere with no one else around!!!! What's not to like????? We'll, I was a full charger sending it into huge closeout tubed back in my day in Hawaii where I live, so I get it. These guys are animals though!!!! Mass respect to them!!!! Of course another thing to consider, is how far is a medical trauma center? And forget all that, I've been a commercial fisherman and captain on the big island where I lived for 30+ years catching big ahi, and I know what else lurks beneath!! Probably some massive sharks out there as it just looks super sharkey!!! Probably some huge white pointers as you guys liked to call them around the area!!?? Looks like perfect habitat for them!! I've seen massive Tigers in Hawaii fishing as well as surfing for 50+ years, and glad you blokes have a ski. I know it's just part of the whole experience surfing down under, and to have it all to yourselves alone with beautiful clear skies and sunshine, well,.....Epic!!!!!! Awesome Tim!!! Fantastic cinematography!!!! Your work is just top notch!!! That's coming from a professional still and motion photographer and cinematographer who worked with nat geo, discovery and many more. I'm a huge fan of your work and as a lifetime surfer growing up surfing the best waves in the Hawaiian islands especially during our winter big surf season, I have big respect for the boys down under. You guys are just like us in Hawaii and I've grown up surfing throughout my life with a lot of the aussie pros and other surfers!! Great video, andblove the guitar on the soundtrack. It was sick!! I'm a surfer and professional photographer and cinematographer in Hawaii where I'm born and raised (1960) I grew up I'm my family's beach house right at Ehukai Beach/Pipeline, surfing Pipeline and lots of my favorite spots throughout the 70's on. Yeah I'm blessed growing up surfing back before the crowds, and we really had it great before the heavy crowds of today. Just wanted to say how I really appreciate seeing your beautiful scenic shots, like of the beautiful fields of green and the yellow flowers with the car traveling through. I'm a landscape photographer and cinematographer, and in the 70's and 80's I used to do a lot of water shots of surfing. I grew up having Dan Merkel filming me surfing Pipeline and especially Backdoor Pipeline in the 70's as it's right in front of my house back then and I grew up surfing it every time it gt good!! My great friend and classmate is Don King, as we grew up together and played water polo together and loved photography so much. Enjoy your work!!! Great stuff!! Aloha D.L
