This has taken the camper from a van to a comfortable campervan and a nice place to put in the miles.
All the parts except the seat covers are off ebay.

They make a huge difference when I pull up and spin them round.
That’s one thing I miss in my setup! Being able to walk in the back from front can. 👍🏻

Nice. Seat cover replacement methods similar to britpart landy ones, Materials may differ slightly ha ha but I am happy with the vinyl but have protected with cover on top. yes not swivel in a 90.
I’m amazed how much it was like a Landy one. Only difference was the base was bolted on.

Loving the van build 👌🏻. Just a thought as to the steering wheel, is the airbag recall relevant to that’s steering wheel, is it a standard sprinter wheel? I think the touch pad down low would be much better also if you have space.
Yea it’s a re trimmed factory wheel so it’s just a case of them swapping the middle but now and it’s all fresh and new
@@Bugoutvehiclesuk when you said flat bottom I assumed it was a c class wheel didn’t realise flat bottoms were a option in sprinters 👍🏻

All 4 captains in my Ford Econoline swivel and quick release remove... its AWSOME when we need to work on the engine or haul large items! takes 5 min to pull them and the rear storage box!

Coming together really nicely. Totally agree about cab comfort, I marvel at those that can overland thousands of miles in a basic van/Defender cab set up - I couldn’t do it!
The last few years of the defender have really made me appreciate this van. It’s gone from constant concentration to cruising along listening to pod casts
It’s looking great now. The single passenger seat made a huge difference to mine too, it’s amazing just how much better being able to walk through into the back actually makes.
100% now I need to work out how high to do a centre cubby box without it being in the way
