If you doing AKL with AUTEl and you select YES ON NEW MODEL/SYSTEM YOU DAMAGED THE BCM. ALWAYS SELECT NO. Only way to turn car on is with VVDI xhorse Smartkey, unless you change the bcm.
Honda, new models, all keys lost use diagnostics side of tool and find the register key id, took me about 2 hours to fiqguere it out. Autel will not just do all keys lost on immo side of tool and it will only add one key on the register key from the diagnostics side and then you can add the rest of the keys from immo side. Unless the car has any other problem you should be fine doing it as register wireless key ID, it will sync the modules and add 1 key only.
Yeah but if ask you if it's over 2020 you say no because it's the old security and it works fine. But if you say yes and its the old security it will brick bcm. The machine thinks all 2020+ is new security. It should say does it use new style key or old style key.
start button is flashing... disconnect the battery 1 minute....reconnect battery,,,. lock unlock driver door with emergency blade,,, close driver door and repeat all keys lost.... is the start button is flashing = system abnormal.,,,, start button not flashing programming key goes tru... works for me,. some say: the question is supposed to be: is this the new system or old system? if it is the new system, i hear, that it will program either way, if you choose yes or no if its the old system, you must answer no, i hear they say, if you answer yes for the old system, it will either brick the module and will need new module with programming and new keys, or if youre using aftermarket key, car now will only take aftermarket and never oem, unless modules is replaced new system is the new key style, for both acura and honda. old key style is like what you have so in conclusion answering NO should always work fine
I bout a key from the dealer and don’t work with autel. But if you generate a xhorse proximity key work fine. I make to many 2022 Accord with xhorse keys. Oem keys don’t work, I don’t know why.
You dont wanna do auto on this car because it is old style key old security. The machine thinks if its after 2020 then it uses new security but thats not true. Some cars have new key and security and some have the old key. So if it asked you if this car is newer than 2020 an you click yes it will brick. Just say no because its old key style
@@jeffh3938I'm not sure I heard you hit no even if it's the new security and I also heard if it's new key design with no security you hit yes and everything works fine. But I can't confirm. I can only confirm if it's the old security old key design definitely hit no. But if the car does get bricked by hiting yes you can generate a xhorse remote with new fcc ID even if car has old fcc ID and the bricked bcm will take it. Just because after it gets bricked its confused. So if this happens you generate the new style key to fix the issue. I mean the bcm is still technically half bricked but at will atleast work
I’ve had similar issues when you get an immediate registration fail on two different occasions. First time the issue was incorrect part number(try to program fob w remote start, car requires fob w/o remote start) same chipset same fcc but wrong part number will not work. Second time the problem was the customer lost the fob somewhere INSIDE the vehicle, interference with the old fob caused an immediate registration fail like you got. Hope this helps.

I would really check the battery on the key it self first . If not then the owner rep.laced the bcm with older honda model bcm

Did you use a xhorse generated key with new key fcc id? If you do it will work after bcm brick from hitting yes on new system.
