Good morning. I have a 2018 Honda Accord with a two connector ecu, not a three connector setup. Can a new ecu be programmed in the car with the autel 608 or the autel 508? Currently the car is running and driving, but throwing all sorts of codes, but everything works fine. Local shop said it was a faulty ecu but they did not have the correct scanner to program a new ecu.

To replace tcm for a 2016 acura mdx do I have to do the Immobilzer update? What are the steps? Is this the only scanner that can do it or will the mk908s pro elite work too? Thanks
Immobilizer Update: If your TCM is linked with your vehicle's immobilizer system, you will likely need to perform an immobilizer system update as well. The immobilizer is a security device that prevents the engine from running unless the correct key is present. This means that even if the TCM is installed and functioning correctly, the engine may not start without this update. i think this one doesn't need it
Hi Mohammed I installed an Acura TSX K2.4A2 engine in my 2010 Acura csx which had K2.0Z2 it's running with the original ECM with some codes keep coming up I bought a used Acura TSX ECM can I reprogram it with my original keys & would the immobilizer connect & start the car
Car started running hot and won’t go pass 20mph used a cheaper system and told me it was My TCM so I Called the Dealer And They Said They Only Carry A PCM For My 2018 honda I figured which has Similar Functions To A TCM Any Advice
My friend has the same car, a 2018 Honda Accord, he got a new scanner, the xtool D8 and went and pushed all keys lost and tried to reprogram the same keys back to the car, it didn’t let him and he didn’t have a virgin key so he put reset ecm; but it messed up everything up. I don’t think he went through all the prompts. Can he still use the same ecm and configure it or will he have to get another ecm and program it after?
@@BestCarFixes we tried 3 different programmers and none if those could program the keys, the xtool d7, d8, autel 808, he also had a locksmith come out and they tried 2 different scanners with no luck. It went to the dealer on sat it day after the locksmith couldn’t do it and the de all we hadn’t been able to either, they said it might need a new ecm because it wasn’t letting them get in the system to program keys.
@@BestCarFixes keep in mind the car isn’t mine so I haven’t been to involve in it, the guy has just keep me updated. I believe it’s still at the dealer and they’re still looking into it.

yes it will work no problem use autel max608 and do ecm replacement

NO NEED TO CHANGE THE ECM TRY TO PROGRAM THE KEY IF NOT USE DIFRENT TOOL AND SEE IF NOT TAKE IT TO THE DEALER YOU WILL SAVE SOME HEADAGE
