Sadly the 2022 civic i just left would not program. After 2 attempts it stopped allowing the force start part of the procedure. Have you experienced this with the new Hondas?

You probably bricked the BCM, there is a way to program an xhorse universal key otherwise the BCM needs replaced.

Question for you Joe. We mainly use OEM or OEM refurbs. If we can't use those we will use Ilco's. I have a couple of these Uni's that came with my never used Km100. My guys who are actually on the road making keys all day tell me they don't like the Autel Uni's. They say the buttons feel cheap to them. We were in a pinch last week and didn't have the right Honda fob so we finally used one of these. It worked fine but my guys still do not like them. How do these seem to feel button wise to you compared to OEM? The reason we use OEM is because in the past we bought thousands of dollars with of aftermarkets only to have them fail within a couple months or not program straight out of the package. We decided to charge a premium and use OEM. We have never had one callback with OEM's.
My guys have KM100's too and only used one time on that same Honda. They for some reason are more comfortable with their 508's and 608's. To me it's kind of amazing what the Km 100 can do in such a small package with free updates.

There are different styles. The plan style does have cheap buttons that fall out when changing the battery. But the nissan autel style feels pretty good use them for all cars. Because the fob itself last longer than am. Try some other styles

I’m just beginning so I could be wrong.
But why would you generate a 433mhz key if you aren’t in Europe? I thought America and north etc all used 315mhz?
    Thanks

America uses 433mhz. It also uses 315mhz and 902mhz. 433mhz is very common in American cars.

You need to pick up your study material. There are a few different mhz used in the USA now.
