We love Disney World, and it is a big reason my wife and I have been looking into retiring at the Villages. We would most likely get an annual pass if we lived that close to WDW. Thanks for such a great channel and for all the content you have provided. Looking forward to seeing more videos about your insights into the Villages. Your channel is great.
Greetings from TN! My husband and I grew up in South Florida and visited Disney many times. We've taken our kids on trips from TN, too. Videos of day trips to Orlando would be appreciated. We are looking at central FL for retirement and enjoy seeing your experiences as newcomers in the villages. We are learning from you, so thanks! We are considering a lifestyle visit next spring (I'm a teacher). Finally, hasn't it been fun to see how the Disney bubble has evolved since the 70s? My husband and I both remember using individual tickets for attractions. LOL. Keep up the great work! And happy 30 years! We just celebrated 32!
Spot on! We’ve been DVC members for 25 years now and we are very attracted to TVs due to the beauty of it. It’s very much like Disney. I want to live in the bubble and escape to Disney occasionally.
Yes, yes, yes, get the pass! We just did a girlfriend’s day at DW. 4 friends from the Village of Fenny, we had a blast! We made our own Disney shirts and had a lot of compliments on them that day. So fun to go with girlfriend’s, I had only gone with family members before. We laughed our way through DW.
Congrats to you both on 30yrs marriage. We also got married in 1994 in the November. Tiffany I have never seen a St Patrick’s day tree before and just love it. I’m Irish but live just outside London. We get back home regularly. As you live so close to Disney World I would say renew passes. The one for use during the week sounds good especially if retired or semi retired. I would enjoy seeing Disney videos. Really enjoy watching your videos…
Thank you so much! Congratulations on your upcoming 30th Anniversary later this year! So glad you are enjoying our videos over in London. Thanks for taking the time to say hello. Have an awesome week and weekend! Cheers!
Hi Michael & Tiffany. Wow, my family and yours have a lot in common. My wife and I were married in '96 and also went to WDW for our honeymoon. Our next trip wasn't until a few years later when we took our two-year old daughter for her first trip to WDW. We have returned many times with both of our children and hope to get annual passes if we are fortunate enough to purchase in the villages after retirement. We are planning to come down the first week in June and will be staying in St. Catherine in an Airbnb near my sister and her husband. I hope you both will consider renewing your annual passes and hope you will share your experiences with us on your channel. Take care!
We live in Colorado currently but will be doing our first lifestyle visit to TV in May. We are on our 3rd year of being annual pass holders and when we make the move there we will keep our top tier AP. We are die hard Disney people!
Tuesday before thanksgiving is the emptiest day to - I want to Disneyland every year and usually had less than 5000 guests- I road pirates of the Caribbean ALONE multiple times over and over. No lines no waiting anywhere
I love Disney too! Currently a DVC member and I let my annual pass lapse because I had other vacation plans this past year. I will renew it soon since I have two vacations planned this year for May and November. In May I'm planning a side trio up to the Villages to check out the Eastport area and hopefully checkout the home me and my brother will be building by that time, If you can see yourself visiting enough times, then I recommend renewing. That pixie dust pass looks very interesting to me, once I become a Fla. resident because I basically only visit during weekdays anyways,
Hello from Puerto Rico, Yes we are dreaming and working to move to The Villages by next year and we also love Disney. We will be having our first Lifestyle visit on July 4, 2024. Hope to meet you both in person.
Awesomeness! Hope you have a great trip and lifestyle visit here to TV in July. Please say hello if you see us during your visit. I took a couple of work trips to Puerto Rico many years ago. Stayed at the El Conquistador. Loved Palomino Island and how clear the water is! Thanks!
We are also avid Disneygoers and visited The Villages in April and that was one of the first things that I thought. That The Villages reminded me of Disney World. We are looking forward to our lifestyle visit in September and possibly becoming Villages residents and Disney annual pass holders!
We are planning on moving to The Villages the summer of 2025. We are so excited. Can't wait to get a Disney Annual Pass. We are coming from Washington State.
Awesomeness! That is exciting! Gives you a year to prep, pack, downsize and get rid of the stuff you won’t need to enjoy your next chapter of life here at The Villages! Good luck! Keep us updated on your progress! Thanks!
We live in Alabama and are APH. It’s our happy place! We love visiting beaches and such, but we find ourselves getting antsy, just sitting after a couple of days. We love the rides and after all the years we have been going to Disney World, we still find new things to see and do. There is no way we could live that close and not at least have the Pixie Dust Pass. 🤣
Thanks! Yes our Happy Places have always been Beaches, Disney World and now The Villages too! Another great benefit of living at TV is you can get to either coast in 2 hours or less. Lots of beach trips in our future!
Yes I would like to see you guys renew your Disney World pass. Its a part of being down there and so close to the villages why not. I say go as long as you enjoy it. I'm interested in The Villages and Disney World experience the whole thing.
Our answers to your questions are....yes and yes! We are looking forward to being able to have something like that in your backyard, without the pressure of "having to do all the things" in a short vacation period. We can definitely see ourselves going to walk around and people watch for the day! If parking is included in the pass cost, that would even be more of a plus. Hope you both enjoy your anniversary next month! (Oh, and we ended up buying the Tesla! So definitely looking forward to any info you can share on how easy or difficult it is to use there :-P)
Thank you so much! Yes we too love to just walk around and people watch. Especially those that are having fun, living life and enjoying the magic of WDW and/or TV! Yes free parking is included with every level of the Annual Pass. Congratulations on your new Tesla! Hope you enjoy it as much as we do ours. Look forward to meeting y’all one day!
Thinking of moving to The Villages in the coming year. Have visited Disney a couple of times through the years. I even have a couple of visits remaining on their unexpiring ticket which they sold many years ago. I really don't have the desire to visit Disney any time soon.
Love your videos! Love Disney! Would love to take my granddaughter one of these days. We would love to meet you both in June when we are there for a week.
Congratulations! 🥂 We also were married in 1994 and honeymooned at WDW! 😂 And it was also my husband’s first time there whereas I had gone quite a few times growing up. Definitely The Villages reminds us of being in that WDW bubble. If we do retire there would be getting the AP. Have had one off and on over the years as a DVC member.
Hi, sorry for just coming on your video. Thank you for making this video. I’m actually getting engaged to someone that lives three hours from Disney and we are actually thinking about getting a Disney road pass annually
We are dreaming of moving to TV and have been watching videos for almost two years to gather. Would like to visit Disney World and see the Star Wars exhibits. I was there 4 decades ago so it’s probably changed a little.
Awesomeness! Yes, Disney World’s Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Hollywood Studios is a lot of fun. Especially at night. Hope you get to visit soon! Thanks!
We opted not to renew as the only option was the $1500 one. We were just in Orlando a couple of weeks ago and went to Disney Springs and took the bus and Skyliner around.
Woohoo!! Today is the day!! Sitting on my balcony at Saratoga Springs Resort waiting on my husband. We're DVC sorcerer annual passholders. May consider downgrading to a Pirate. Pixie dust doesn't work for us because my husband is still working. Did you know that Disney and Universal former Imagineers did design the town square?! I read that in a book. You can tell. Hope to meet you both soon.
Awesomeness! Congratulations!!! Hope you had a magical day at WDW and your closing experience here at TV! Welcome to The Villages! Please say hello when you see us out and about! Thanks!
OMG!!! Yassss!! I would love to see you guys making day trips to Disney. Each time you go, you'll definitely share new tips with us; I'm sure. Also, you guys are young and active drivers. Make some day trips to Ocala and show us around. I love my big box stores and love to drive. If you do day trips to Target, malls, chain restaurants (I think a bunch are in the Ocala direction) I'd like to see your driving trip. Get out of the town squares and show us what's around the outskirts. Another point I'd like to know: How's the postal delivery service? I'm huge on Amazon deliveries. Do the trucks go to your house or to the little local PO each village has and do you have to pick up deliveries there? Thanks!!
Thanks so much! Will do more day trip videos in the future. Amazon, Walmart, Costco, Home Depot, etc. deliver directly to your home via UPS or FedEx. If a package goes through the US Postal Service then it will be delivered to your mailbox at your Village neighborhood postal station. Will do a video on this soon.
Love Disney so much. My brother works for Disney. Are you guys members of Mickey's Fanatics Club? I finally got in this year after being on the waitlist for almost 3 years!
Awesomeness! Hopefully you get to go for free since your brother works there. Have you been on any of the behind the scenes tours? We have not joined any of the TV Disney clubs yet. Sounds like we need to get on the list. Do they have a website? Thanks!
I have the Pixie Dust pass & live out of state. Lots of people don’t realize you can do that if you pay utilities or even just have a bank account in Florida. There are lots of exceptions instead of an instate drivers license & they are listed on the website. I hate the toll road so I go down on 27 & cut across in Clermont. Which didn’t take any longer.
Thanks for responding. I was wondering if snowbirds could get a Florida resident pass. We'll be settling this afternoon. We are DVC but maybe we'll downgrade our pass to a pirate.
Awesomeness! Thanks for sharing that info. I take 27 sometimes but it can also get backed up. I have a few other backroads that I take to avoid both 27 and the Turnpike during heavy traffic times.
My husband and I went to WDW in October and I had to use a scooter. The shuttle buses were great as I could just drive my scooter up into the bus and then the driver helped me park it on the bus.
Hi Michael and Tiffany. I currently do not live in the Villages but I do love it. I also love Disney World. Also Happy St.Patrick's Day (your tree is adorable) and happy upcoming 30th wedding anniversary. How exciting. You're both so cute and look like a newlywed couple. Enjoy!
We had the Annual Pass for many years from NY. Now that we live here the Pixie Pass is perfect for us. So much cheaper than the regular annual pass and you can go for the day and drive home in less than an hour!!
I love going to Disney ... Just very disappointed that corporate Disney has chosen to take a political stance on topics that do not align with Mr. Walt Disney's Christian faith.
I visit Disney World in 1974, 1991 and 1994. One of our Niece visit Disney World yearly. I know of one couple who has a home in the Golden Oak , they visit every 9 weeks.
Thank you for making a video about Disney World! I don’t know why no other Villagers are making videos about it! I live relatively close to Disneyland here in California, and if I retire to TV, I expect I would go at least once per month to WDW! Please share more WDW content! I use to get the Premier annual pass, which allowed you entry into Disney Land Resort and WDW every day of the year! It was fun to go to Disney world for a week (I am also a DVC member), on the last day visit Magic Kingdom, fly home to LAX, and end the day at Disneyland! Yes Magic Kingdom in the AM, Disneyland in the PM of the same day :)! Good times! But, unfortunately, no Premier pass anymore. Yes, film lots of day trips to WDW :)!
Thanks so much! We have only been to Disney Land twice (when we travelled to CA for work trips) but have been to Disney World too many times to count. Hopefully they will bring back some type of Premier Pass option again in the future.
Yes you get Free parking with every Disney World Annual Pass. We have been to Universal and SeaWorld a few times and we may purchase their Annual Passes later this year. Thanks!
We gave up our Disney annual pass during Covid. Was going to renew it after Covid but Disney hasn’t discontinued the reservation system which they originally said they would do after the pandemic. We always went to Disney spontaneously but with the reservation system that’s more difficult. May renew when the reservation system is discontinued.
We are Disney fans, too!! We are also celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary this August! We loved this video!! Yes, you have to do more day trips to Disney! We are also getting ready to decide about our annual passes. I can't wait to hear what you decide. We happen to be DVC members as well. Disney is one of the reasons we decided to retire in Florida. We were tired of dealing with the airlines/airport. Thanks for the wonderful video! I can't wait to meet you both someday!
Question why even stay at the hotel there when Disney is only 50 minutes from your house. Being we all live so close you save a lot of money just commuting back and forth instead of hotel.
We only stay on property every once in a while and only if it is a good discount for APH. We treated last week like a mini vacation and not just a day trip. Lots of added bonuses of staying on property like extra hours in the parks (before and after they close to regular guests not staying on property). We do lots of day trips too! Thanks!
OMG !!! I’m so excited 🎉to know I’m not alone with the love for Disney. My husband Mark and I have been going to Disney for 30 yrs. We bought into the DVC in 1997. We go all the time. We went to Disney BoardWalk hotel for our honeymoon and a Disney cruise. . I have talk to you before about us moving to the villages 😀 hopefully as soon as we are done with renovations on our house we will be moving up towards East Port. Mark was just up there this past weekend staying with his friends at Animal 🦒 Kingdom. I’m going with my friends 4/23 to Animal Kingdom resort
We took the kids numerous times when they were young, and everyone enjoyed it immensely. Ever since the true agenda of Disney leadership was revealed a few years ago, they have not gotten a single penny from any of our family members - no park trips, no merchandise, no movies, absolutely nothing. We know of many, many families who have made the same decision. Hopefully things will go back to the way they were, much closer to Walt's original vision. If he were alive, he would weep at what has been done to his legacy.
I really enjoy your videos, but at my age have no desire to visit Disney World. I have been there a few times, but find the natural beauty of Florida more beautiful than anything Disney could offer. Love your Irish tree and excited to see how you decorate it next month.
love the Irish decorated tree. Disney has become out of reach for most. Love it, but the cost has become prohibited for most. I was able to take my children (in the 70s) and grandchildren (in the 80s, 90s and 2023.) Wondering if Disney will survive, as Sears was king for over 100 years and eventually succumbed. Sad to think about it.
Old geezer here… I was at Disney twice, once in ‘75 and again in ‘80. First time was $6 to get in, second was $8 - Strictly Magic Kingdom, Epcot hadn’t been built yet! After you paid the admission, you then had to buy coupon books to use for the rides…. Don’t know if you guys are familiar with the phrase “E-Ticket Ride”, this is the system that spawned that term… Cheers!
Great video. We were at Disney a month ago and honestly I did not feel the Disney magic. We had a 6 day pass which we had to use within a two week window ugh!! $30 (x6)each day for parking! ugh. Some of the sets I felt were really tacky. Total disappointment from when we had our visit back in the 80's. Disney Springs turned out to be a wonderful surprise as we didn't think would be that big and FREE parking😮 On another note - we went to Sumpter Landing today and wanted to send a huge shout out to Amber at Redsauce Italian restaurant. Please say 'hello' when you visit. She went over and above in service. ❤
Get your passes. I don’t think all the passes are available to purchase. Disney closes the purchase of annual passes and then you are stuck paying daily rate. Yes would like to see you do more Disney stuff. Even a tour of Disney Springs
Awesomeness! Thanks so much! Glad you are enjoying our videos. Hope you get to visit TV soon! It’s a great place to live!

That’s Awesome! Glad to hear you had a fun experience on your recent day trip to WDW with other awesome people from TV!
Awesomeness! A lot in common. Thanks so much for sharing! Have fun on your upcoming trip to TV in June!
Yes, you should renew your pass. If you had an annual pass and lived 500 miles away, makes no sense to not have one when you are 50 miles away.
Good point! Thanks!
We live in Colorado currently but will be doing our first lifestyle visit to TV in May. We are on our 3rd year of being annual pass holders and when we make the move there we will keep our top tier AP. We are die hard Disney people!
Awesomeness! Hope you have a great experience on your TV lifestyle visit in May! Thanks!

We would love to see you visit Disney! Renew those passes!!
I would love to see guys in Disney xxx
Thanks!
Luv the Irish tree! Escaping to Disney every now and then is a good thing to do.
Thanks so much!
Wow. That's a lot of information. Thank you both!
Glad it was helpful! Thanks!
We are planning on moving to The Villages the summer of 2025. We are so excited. Can't wait to get a Disney Annual Pass. We are coming from Washington State.

Awesomeness! The Villages is great! We actually have some left over days from our first tickets we bought to WDW back in 1994.
Dreaming of TV…..I’d say within a year we will be there. PLUS HUGE Disney Adult ❤
Love your videos! Love Disney! Would love to take my granddaughter one of these days. We would love to meet you both in June when we are there for a week.
Thanks so much! Hope you have a great visit in June! Please say hello if you see us out and about.

Hi, sorry for just coming on your video. Thank you for making this video. I’m actually getting engaged to someone that lives three hours from Disney and we are actually thinking about getting a Disney road pass annually

Awesomeness!
Hi Guys ! Though i do like Disney my favorite is Sea World right near Disney ! 👍🐬🐟🦈🐡 keep up the videos LOVE you guys !! 👍❤
Thanks so much! We need to check out Sea World again soon. It’s been several years since our last visit.
I just bought in the Villages and would Love to meet you guys!!!
I bought in Dabney
Awesomeness! Congratulations and Welcome to The Villages!
Thanks for the time and info…always a pleasure!
Our pleasure! Thanks!

Thank you so much! It’s fun to decorate year round. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to you too!
Hopefully the "Brightline Train" will connect to the villages some day!
That would be awesome! Thanks!
Great info. Thanks for Sharing.
Thanks!
We had the Annual Pass for many years from NY. Now that we live here the Pixie Pass is perfect for us. So much cheaper than the regular annual pass and you can go for the day and drive home in less than an hour!!

I got married in January 1994 and went to Disneyland for our honeymoon.

Thank you for the info

I love going to Disney ... Just very disappointed that corporate Disney has chosen to take a political stance on topics that do not align with Mr. Walt Disney's Christian faith.

Will do! Thanks!

Do annual passes provide you with free parking? I'm also curious about annual passes at Universal and SeaWorld.
Good point! Thanks!
Thanks for the video! We would love to see some videos of your trips to WDW. We are DVC members and look forward to being Villagers very soon!
Awesomeness! Keep us posted on your move to TV! Thanks!
Awesomeness! Happy upcoming 30th Anniversary to you 2 too! Thanks!
Thanks!
We’ve never been to Disney. But I hope to get to TV
We hope you get to visit TV soon! Thanks!
You guys should renew your passes so every time you visit Disney make a video to show us so we can be prepared to go next 😊
Thanks!
Awesomeness! Have fun on your upcoming trip to Animal Kingdom! Thanks!
Thanks!
love the Irish decorated tree.
Thanks!
Yes, renew your pass! We're Villages and Disney folks too. We want to see you there!
Awesome! Thanks!
Wow! Only $6 and $8. Thanks for sharing!
Love Disney, however, starting to become over priced. Universals Epic Universe opens next year!
We are very interested in checking out Universal’s Epic Universe when it opens. Thanks!
Disney Springs turned out to be a wonderful surprise as we didn't think would be that big and FREE parking😮
On another note - we went to Sumpter Landing today and wanted to send a huge shout out to Amber at Redsauce Italian restaurant. Please say 'hello' when you visit. She went over and above in service. ❤
Glad you had a great experience at Redsauce. We will add them to the list of places to try. Thanks!
Get your passes. I don’t think all the passes are available to purchase. Disney closes the purchase of annual passes and then you are stuck paying daily rate. Yes would like to see you do more Disney stuff. Even a tour of Disney Springs
Thanks!
Join TV Disney fanatics club! They take bus trips!😊
Awesomeness! Will have to check them out. Thanks!
Why does Disney need your fingerprint?? That’s TMI. Are you going to prison?? I’ll pass on the pass.
