Thanks for the video. A little disappointed that at all the front of houses show the white pillars. Im not a fan of pillars. Reasonable sales price but how much are the bonds on these houses. I prefer block definitely would expect soft closing drawers especially when taking away an extra foot off height.Pantry a definitive must have. The Dabney kitchen is great not impressed with all the corner walls especially in master bedroom and not impressed looking at a block wall would prefer windows with privacy blinds ..(can see out but noone sees in). The Dabney is the one I would choose out of all of them but still interested in bond price.

We were just there several weeks ago. The bond prices are sky rocketing. Adding $50,000.00 onto a house that is under 1500 square feet is just crazy to us. We talked with Three developer advisors when we came home about it. One was in Florida. They ALL stated that about 20 was FAIR to pay but that it looked liked the villages were over extending and needed to raise capital. Bottom Line: if you want to live there then pay the price of extra 50 thousand to your house cost. I think they may have priced us out. We were also told by one advice that the housing market is about to take a fall. So who knows what will happen. I guess we will wait and see. Enjoyed watching your videos keep them up 😊

You do a fantastic job describing the houses. I think you should look into being a real estate agent. You would be great. Being a past agent the only thing that you wouldn’t do is tell the bad things about the houses. Ha. But really you would be great. What do you do for work? Again love your videos, and your awesome personality.😊🌸

Dabney C is my fave of the new plans…a couple of drawbacks but glad to see they are offering the privacy fence. Love your channel and you guys have a great way in how you provide content on TV. Coming down for a 2nd much longer visit in Sept-Oct. and hope we run into you while making some long term decisions🤞…really got to consider that bond 😳 in our decision making!

I missed the name of the second home (between gilchrist and Danny). I think I would not love all the glass in the shower. I’m hopeful to find a Roman shower with zero glass to keep clean. Otherwise, it was a great looking plan. Not sure what to think of the privacy fencing.

Nice smooth quiet ride I think. Too much money for laminate and LVP flooring. Lifestyle can’t be denied but 🤷‍♀️bond, taxes a lot to think about.

Thanks for the walk-thru. Can't say as I care for the having to close the bedroom door to get into the master bath. But I do like the one that the bedroom door is around the corner from kitchen area. My house the bedroom opens to the kitchen and I have to close the door at night due to all the ambient light from the light post out front and all the glowy lights from stove, fridge, microwave & dishwasher. This has made me even happier to be in my Alden/Anhinga.

Thank you Michael, love your videos. Noticed that there didn't seem to be any ceiling fans in the living area & the bedrooms on any of these new models - do you know if there is wiring? Additionally , all Designers Homes, Courtyards Cottages and even some Patios have a sink in either the laundry room or garage. Favorite Jubilee & Dabney ; least favorite Everett. Love that privacy fence. Stay dry!

I think the jubilee c is my favorite. What I don’t like is the sink in the island but everything else is on my list 2+ garage, 2 closets in main bath, toilet behind private door, pocket door for guest suite, Thanks for showing these.

My preferred was the Jubilee, except not having a golf cart garage is a drawback. I don't care for the long entryhall in the DabneyC. These so called Designer Homes are really cottage homes made of concrete. They're cottage sized and the kitchens are small. The bond though, ouch!! The person mentioning the barking dogs is right. You may not hear them inside the house but you will if you try to enjoy your lanai. Im surprised they don't have vaulted ceilings. With the small size, that really helps open it up.

Do you have any videos showing the other 55 communities in FL you visited?

I stayed at the Waterfront Inn in Sumter Village visiting just before Xmas 2021. I thought it was fun as a visiter. Music every night at the town square, great restaurants and bars for hanging out at night. I think its a plus to live in a place like this as you get older because there's stuff to do every day so as not to become isolated. The only thing i can't get past is there is no big mall close by nor anyplace interesting to shop, not near the ocean, the surrounding area is kind of old (i was up by Kohls). Granted i didn't do a lot of travel but i just felt kind of claustrophobic. I currently live in CT about a mile from the shore.

The Dabney C was my favorite. We use separate bathrooms so the size wouldn’t be a problem. My biggest adjustment would be the complete lack of any kind of privacy but warm winters would certainly help.

Given the prices it's easy to see why homes selling in the North are seeing price reductions. Even with no options and high bonds.

Hey y’all, love your channel!! Regarding the Dabney-C model (your favorite)… how do you feel about the entry door to the master bedroom blocking the bathroom when it’s open? I would find that annoying. Hope Debby is nice to y’all!!!

We like the same floorplan that you do, but in your case, you don't have to worry normally about getting ready in the bathroom at the same time as I assume it's still only Tiffany working. Can you explain what you mean when you mention what the bonds are? Looks like you are very happy with your decision to leave the rv lifestyle, and we're happy for you 😊 love your videos.

I am watching for the second time. 2 things, small onsuite bathrooms are small. They look like they for only one person and smaller closets. Is there a reason for that? Plus, not all the homes had room a for a golf cart. I do not live in the TV. On the positive, you can always make improvements. Thank you for sharing the homes and all you do keep us informed. Coming down next week for our week-long lifestyle visit and will be touring these homes. 🤔 I really don’t understand why they don’t put gutters, except on the front, on these houses though. I can’t say that I’m impressed with any of these new models. I don’t like the front door opening directly in the living area, and I don’t care for the very long hallway either. I prefer the more traditional foyer. I do like that they are making decent pantries. It’s a must for me in these homes with little storage. Thanks for the pre-tour.

Thanks Michael for doing these house tours. We like the one you and Tiffany like. We are wondering if anyone else feels like we do? It seems these houses within the villages are built with the same layout as many of the newly constructed apartments. It concerns us that we won’t be able to down size so we may have to build a custom home. Have y’all done any videos on those houses being built ? Also, how does one clear out a 2800 square foot house with three garages, finished basement with rec area and huge entertainment area ? We plan to visit in Feb. Does anyone have advice? lol.

I prefer a small cottage in the middle of an acre of wooded lot.

Most of the homes in the villages look like they are vary close to each other. The kissing lanais look on top of each other. I would bet that if any neighbors have a dog, your going to hear barking because the dog will be residing in the lanai! Many negatives in my opinion.

I agree that the Dabney is prob best though I like the larger bathrooms like some older homes have with the toilet not so close to the shower. Something to ponder.

I just noticed on the second house that there's no dead bolt on the door leading to the garage. I don't think I've ever seen that before. Is that normal on these houses in The Villages?

They have Split bedrooms !! My favorite Dabney C Like Jubilee C , just not on the corner.

And not a walk-in shower in the jubilee. There is a lot to like on the jubilee, but there are some things I'm not crazy about.
