Agreed, then have a ranking for how long each city supports a single person's survival. I'd wager that Morthal is at the bottom and Solitude is at the top.
Joov does something similar. It's more like, "how much of the skyrim experience can you get without leaving..." This reminded me of his videos alot lol
Your hunger not advancing while in jail makes perfect sense, assuming they're feeding you in prison. Also, in the context of this challenge, them detecting you stealing their food makes perfect sense as well. To me, the idea of not having at least a month's worth of food (for one person) in your home is strange. Mostly because I hate going grocery shopping so I'll typically buy a month's worth of food in one trip and then not go shopping again for a few weeks or so.
@@lucidstateofmind8494 There were still ways of preserving food, it just wasn't as effective as fridges and freezers today. You'd usually store food in a cold cellar, away from sunlight and heat. You would also ferment a lot of food in salt, such as meat and fish, or dry it in the sun to make it last. And then there are cold resistant plants like potatoes.
Skyrim food recipes are all created by celebrity chefs, who all seem to think every meal has to have a half a pound of salt in it or you can't even eat it lol.
slight correction, you CAN sell stolen items to people in the city but you need the fence perk in the speech tree to do it which is 90 speech so idk if its even worth that grind anyways
Lucky for you in this quarantine is that you are the only person that actually needs food. Everyone else is just decorating their houses with it. (or it is a curse since the dragon born is the only one who will starve in this quarantine)
As much as I know you've played Skyrim a lot on your channel, there's something about how you talk about things that makes me think you've never played it before. Like the existence of vegetable soup, easily the most practical and often-used food item in Skyrim
You could use beggars for buff to speech and you can just draft items somewhere before stealing 😅 Also stealing early on could have given you even more gold to buy stuff with, but I don't know if you'd really be able to spend it
I cringed watching him steal from the Bannered Mare and House of Clan Battleborn. They are extremely easy to befriend and therefore make all the foodstuff lying around free to take.
You having it easier when stealing keys it's actually a game mechanic, the lighter the item the easier it's to pickpocket it, also items with less value are easier to pickpocket The keys don't have any weight or value, so they are really easy to pickpocket, lol
my guess is that in perfect conditions (not getting thrown in jail or the guards called on you), you could last around 2 months. whiterun has a lot of food lying around
I would love to see this expanded but as a whole world thing where good food is rare (make tomatoes and salt rare) and make most npcs hostile due to starvation. To make it better make most cities burning rubbles so supplies are lacking in main cities. I would love to see something like this (no harm if you cant just an idea for you
does weight have anything to with the success for pickpocketing? that might be why they noticed the foods but not the keys! i would love to see you try this in other towns and cities!
Thinking about it. A time skip shouldn't have been needed till the end of the video. All the prep work could be done together to amass as much food as possible. Then you could see how long it lasts at the end. Idk, maybe I'm missing something.
Actual covid "pandemic" in skyrim: Dragonborn: But I just murdered that guy with my sword, he wasn't sick Guard: another covid victim, add it to casualties boys. orders from the (((thalmor)))
To be fair, I think I’d notice a lot more if someone tried to steal a bag of flour from me than I would one key lol
Maybe people should start hiding their valuables inside bags of flour then.
@@FormerlyBlue O:
@@FormerlyBlueis it better not to ask where she hid that flour? 🫥
Well, where precisely was she keeping that key?
@@FormerlyBluesounds like something that wouldn't be good for ending quarantine
“How long do you think I’ll survive?”
*Looks at video length*
“About 15 minutes I’d say” 👍🏼
Imagine being a poor grandma and some orc is trying to steal your flour for the third time
That last guard wasn't having any of your arresting shenanigans. He saw a problem in one hand, and a sword in the other, and he made a choice.
Olava can see the future! You thought you could pickpocket Skyrim’s greatest psychic powers.
I would love to see this be done for every big city in Skyrim
Agreed, then have a ranking for how long each city supports a single person's survival. I'd wager that Morthal is at the bottom and Solitude is at the top.
Joov does something similar. It's more like, "how much of the skyrim experience can you get without leaving..." This reminded me of his videos alot lol
@trainathan don't forget winterhold! They are definitely the bottom
"How is it this woman is so hard to pickpocket" - while attempting to pickpocket her while she sees you

well, the game is set during a time where fridges don't exist, so not having that big of a stockpile of food makes sense
@@TheLeafcuter then how would you survive the winter when nothing grows?

For sleep, if you get the money to fight uthgerd, you can also take her key and use her bed once she agrees to join you.
Olava is a seer of the future but not only is she a seer she is the seer of the dark brotherhood
Aw man I love hit cult classic Russian indie game Pathologic, the game looks so much better than I remember
Do this in Riften next- you could at least start the thieves guild questline and there's lots of fish and salt freely available.
Olava the Feeble is actually a former member of the Thieves' Guild. Of course she can tell when she's being pickpocketed.
Imagine playing with the sewers mod and being able to escape the lockdown that way.
Or: living in the sewers and making it your home
Watching you steal that sweetroll was oddly satisfying
12:15 - Probably because you get fed in jail.
Man, this is my favorite channel. Every video has been a gem. Keep up the good work and thank you
Skyrim food recipes are all created by celebrity chefs, who all seem to think every meal has to have a half a pound of salt in it or you can't even eat it lol.
You could have choose to play as argonian or khajiit since they can eat raw food
I got a government covid notice under this vid
slight correction, you CAN sell stolen items to people in the city but you need the fence perk in the speech tree to do it which is 90 speech so idk if its even worth that grind anyways
Absolutely love your videos! Much love ❤️
I'd love to see this challenge but in other main cities like solitude, windhelm, markarth, etc. every challenge you do like this is a banger
Absolute madlad of a challenge and execution. Really appreciate the editing of the ever-incresing-speed on the interstitial music.
I'd love to see this challenge done for every main city
just chop wood all day and youre good😂
Yeah, but he can only use a merchant once anyways.
Drinks 35 bottles of ale "And I'm still hungry" Sir, You're drinking not eating
Local mad man slain by town guard after rampage
I feel like white run would still have vegetables because of the farms right outside of whiterun
Lucky for you in this quarantine is that you are the only person that actually needs food. Everyone else is just decorating their houses with it. (or it is a curse since the dragon born is the only one who will starve in this quarantine)
The title came up as a notification and I thought you were just really confused, year-wise
this is a very accurate representation of 2020
Yeah, I was gonna guess 30 days, tops.
Formerly Blue spotted.
I predicted 3 weeks and WOW did you pass that! The Bear Grylls of Skyrim.
Survival Mode just got a whole lot tougher......now I want to play my Space Marine Blood Angel knockoff in Survival Mode....thank you very much.
As much as I know you've played Skyrim a lot on your channel, there's something about how you talk about things that makes me think you've never played it before. Like the existence of vegetable soup, easily the most practical and often-used food item in Skyrim
First skyrim video I've seen with a covid warning underneath it.
my guess is around 110 days
Closest guess so far
4 months, not bad! I thought it would be over in a week)
Man, I love challenges like this!
Hypochondria 25, coming to an election season near you
You are an amazing Skyrim player. I wouldn't last a week!
Eine interessante challange. Sollte ich auch mal ausprobieren 😂
You could use beggars for buff to speech and you can just draft items somewhere before stealing 😅
Also stealing early on could have given you even more gold to buy stuff with, but I don't know if you'd really be able to spend it
I mean getting killed by a sword was probably less stuffering than starving
Whiterun under siege would be interresting
Literally 4x more than my initial guess, dang
peak as-intended skyrim
I cringed watching him steal from the Bannered Mare and House of Clan Battleborn. They are extremely easy to befriend and therefore make all the foodstuff lying around free to take.
we need badly translated Skyrim
There are worse things Olava could have done to you tbh, knowing her friend...
You having it easier when stealing keys it's actually a game mechanic, the lighter the item the easier it's to pickpocket it, also items with less value are easier to pickpocket
The keys don't have any weight or value, so they are really easy to pickpocket, lol
Couple weeks maybe? Depends on well you manage that food.
my guess is that in perfect conditions (not getting thrown in jail or the guards called on you), you could last around 2 months. whiterun has a lot of food lying around
I want to see you do this in the other holds of Skyrim or at least windhelm
I would love to see this expanded but as a whole world thing where good food is rare (make tomatoes and salt rare) and make most npcs hostile due to starvation.
To make it better make most cities burning rubbles so supplies are lacking in main cities.

Pls mister formerly blue you should do this challenge also in solitude it would make a great series
3 Weeks I think you could last.
Probably 3 months
You made everyone starving!
Would you ever do a livestream of Skyrim content?
Such creativity
its insane that you could last four months lol
wow!
This was an absolute banger! Can't wait for your next fun idea xD
Dude what mods do you use the graphics and the game play is beautiful
Plz do this with all the holds it would be great
So that's how was the pandemic through the eyes of a toilet paper hoarder
do other citys, riften for a challeneg and solitude for a long video
Sad you forgot two whole cow with food on them 😢
can you please do Living as a vigilant of stendar
does weight have anything to with the success for pickpocketing? that might be why they noticed the foods but not the keys!
i would love to see you try this in other towns and cities!
Where's all the cats, dogs and water fowl?😅
If you took covid death rates and applied them to whiterun, Nazeem would die and that would be it 😂
I really wanna make a farmer skyrim deally
If you had the Ring of Namira then you could have survived a little longer by killing and eating the townsfolk

Carrying capacity lol. And stuff just vanishes sometimes if you store it in unowned containers.
Yeah but did you stock up on TP?!:)
nooo sigurd :(((
I like it.
With the food all gone, what will the survivors do?
Actual covid "pandemic" in skyrim:
Dragonborn: But I just murdered that guy with my sword, he wasn't sick

My initial guess was 30. Wow lol
Can I ask what mod are you using to make the item pickup notifications happen so smooth and fast?
Skyrim mukbang
Unfortunately I tend to stress eat so I don’t think I’d last long.
This is EXACTLY what it was like to play Skyrim in 2020. Trust me, I was there!
What ENB are you using?
did you go to eorland grey-mane at the skyforge?
i think you can make it for a month
im screaming about the drunken huntsmen and then he forgot to loot the lockpick off of the corpse in dragons reach 😭
I hope @Formerly Blue is still alive.. We need more of badly translated Skyrim..
Did you include a mod that makes food spoil? If so, I didn't notice.
No I did not.
Davon Ferry
Kinda sounds like Detroit, ngl
Does anyone know what skin/face mod Formerly Blue is using?
Eight hours

Ta em português? Kkk
What enb you using man dammmmmm
