Omg I'd been trying to figure out how to do Halo Reach armor out of EVA foam for a bit but everyone says "use the Pepakura files" and I when I tried to look I just saw all those polygons and was so intimidated like "oh my gosh that's not like any EVA foam build I've ever done that looks insane" but seeing you delete the tons of extra lines and get a more manageable looking pattern blew my mind, I finally understand. Thank you so much for making this!
I've been playing Halo Reach for a very long time and I happened to stumble upon your video in my recommended. Good on you for putting in the effort to bring something from Halo Reach to life. The parts of the armor you made in this video look fantastic! Also I just saw all the pic of the full thing on the gram. Looks like you aim to please. :) Good luck with your future cosplays.
I’m building a customs reach armour but it has the hip bag and the chest scarf so these are perfect for me I’m lucky enough that my mum did seeing as her job for most of my life so she taught me how to use a sewing machine, perfect since now doing cosplay I don’t need to learn to see for things like this
Awesome, I'm currently working on my own spartan 3, although i used the game files and texture to make the abdomen section template out of foam since I have less sewing experience
