Im not much of a Cosplay person. never really looked into the normal side of things of it.. I'm here from your post on Reddit and HOLY HELL YOUR STUFF IS AWESOME
Love you videos, really inspired me to start to making my own foam cosplay suits, it would be really awesome if you can make own big video combining all your other tutorials into once you are done with all the parts of the armor
I decided to start building a reach armour since I’ve not built any big projects since 2020 and the same day I started downloading the files for a reach armour I see his video show up in recommended, glad it did since this will save so much time
Thank you so much for sharing this! I really apreciate leving the files in the discription, I know a lot of creators that would put a price tag on those so thank you. Do you have any tips for sizing these to my frame? 6 4 220
Nice job on almost 1k, also what glue do you use? I am very passionate about making things, I attempted the same suit you did and it did not turn out good, maybe I'll do it following your tutorials!!!
Oof, yeah. If you're looking for Halo templates, 405th.com has almost everything available for free... it's also the place a lot of Etsy sellers get their "product" :\
I could, however they would likely not fit you as they need to be scaled for your body, and it would be difficult to see how the pieces fit together. Fortunately, there is a free tool called Pepakura Viewer for PC which allows you to open the file, includes a 3d render, scale to your body, and even print to pdf if you like. Does that help?
I prefer A4 but I use letter because that's easiest to find in the US, although really it doesn't matter. You just need to make sure that you have your print settings the same as the paper you use, otherwise your scaling will be wrong. Some templates would benefit from larger format paper so I don't have to tape them together, but I've never put the work in to do that. Also make sure you don't have "auto resize to fit" on. Speaking of paper standards, if you'd like to learn why the A4 paper standard is mathematically cleaner than the letter standard, check out Matt Parkers great video :-) ua-cam.com/video/mHeo62B0d0E/v-deo.html
Templates won't fit right away as they have to be scaled to your body, and that's true for everyone. A lot of people have been asking about scaling, and so my next video will be focused on various methods of scaling templates to fit your body. I made my first costume out of cardboard and duct tape when I was 9-10, but I didn't have templates, tutorials, or etc. so I'd say you stand a better chance of success than I did :)
This is the most INFURIATING bit of armor to design on any kind of full armor suit. THANK YOU!
aggressive pointing
always :)

Thanks! And yeah, I think that's a cool idea, it's certainly something I'll be looking into :)

Can you put these templates into pdf format so I can view them

I'm half-way through building the waist piece now... but perhaps I'll skip over the boots and do the torso after the waist :-)
