  • A customer approached us at the Melbourne 4x4 Show last year and asked us to build him a PCOR 79 Series Landcruiser Supertourer. He didn't want to see anything about it until it was finished. This is what we delivered!

I have to say .... Justin...You and your team have been, and are making some of the best campers and rigs that I have ever seen. Your products are clean and innovative and your styling in whatever you've produced is original and extreme. Cheers to you and your company for providing a better way to explore.! You're the most informative and progressively positive front man to own a business.
(Oh yah..... and your videos rock..! Come to Canada soon..!!)

Awesome colour with the wrap. Wrapping gives you so many options. I also now have a better understanding of portal axles.
    Thanks guys.

Love to see new builds from PCOR and the Patriot crew! One small request: your audio is always about half as loud as other UA-cam channels. Yes I have hearing issues, but even with earbuds in I have to replay the video [sometimes more than once] to hear everything being said. Beyond that, I gotta say: I love seeing what's new from the Patriot crew!

I love my portal axles........... On my Unimog. ;) Gotta say that I agree that Portals are the best option for super hard 4wdriving. I head up into a boulder strewn sandstone creek system. Only a Unimog with it's standard portals and the Michelin tyres could ever manage to traverse this country at a minimum. My Landcruiser Troopcarrier can't touch it. The truck in this video may do well though.

Honestly the best landcruiser for a supertourer build is the now old 105 series. Pretty much identical underneath as a 70 but already comes corrected from factory the track difference. Has a coiled rear end instead of the leaves the 70 has. Portal axels can bolt up from Mark’s. So you still get the bomb proof reliability underneath as the 70 with the advantage of coils, so you’re not hanging up your leaves in every bog hole. The body is way bigger and much more comfortable as the 70 you can fit three large adults in the back no problem. The body is much more aerodynamic so you have much less wind noise and a very tiny bit of better fuel economy. Road noise is not an issue either and if you soundproof them even better. You can go the factory way by bolting up last gen lx470 interior or sahara so many options. Too make them look more modern you can add the latter style 100 series headlight and led taillights, which is what I’ve done to my 105 landcruiser.
Challenge for you guys try find someone that’s willing to spend all that money and you will have the ultimate landcruiser.
Mine would go like this landcruiser 105 dual cab conversion, pcor supertourer canopy, 1hdfte, Lexus interior, updated headlights and led taillights, Tim barwork, portal axels on 35s and all the rest of the usual off-road accessories. Best of all you can do all of this with very little fuss as they’re from the same family.
Now tell me that wouldn’t be awesome.
