Earlier this year we were contacted by a new customer in the UAE who was a fan of the Black Truck they wanted not 1 but 4 replicas, the only difference they are V6 left-hand drive Gulf Spec 79 Series Landcruisers. The SUPERTOURER™ team got the job done and this was the result.

Saw a white Supertourer in Rose Bay (Sydney eastern suburbs). Very nice. I reckon though if you want to sell a few in this area, add $100,000 to the price tag. Simple.

Make a 79 series look like a aussie truck. With the 6x6 kit, stacks, truck mud flaps mini truck snorkels. Make it for road trips like a highway truck. Build a gooseneck trailer with it to.

Cool hope the front diff doesn't have a blow out , so unpredictable, Fraser island, and the simson desert, bloody awesome truck though, hope I win the lotto soon, I saw a 79 going down the Gold coast high way towards coolangatta this afternoon with a x1 behind it , if Maranda kirr was a 4x4 that was it.

I think some of the things that were optional on these builds should probably be standard as they are necessities on this type of truck
is the inverter in the UAE spec 110 volt or 240 volt ? the vehicles look awesome :)

Looks great! Inverter has an Australian plug socket in it - GCC countries use UK sockets :)
If non-UK style outlet installed on equipment arrives in GCC port then risk of complete item being returned to port of origin if found during port inspection. Fees for storage and penalties for non-compliance. Also, no access to port for inspection or rework! Customs not as strict as Aus though still tight.

Almost everyone buys petrol land cruisers in Saudi Arabia even tho there are different good diesel specs to the price, let alone diesel fuel prices are damn great( close to uae specs and prices) Maybe dune bashing and climbing difficult terrains is better in petrol.
It's about horse power. The Arabs don't go slow they send it up the beach, limiter bashing up the dunes all day which diesels can not do.
Diesel LCs are getting more popular in the UAE but you can’t get them from the dealer, you have to buy through a third party and it’s not straightforward. It’s just a petrol region, particularly Saudi.
