Speaking of, I always thought it'd be cool for medic to have a crossbow alternative that's a long-cooldown throwable (like gas passer) which creates an area that heals allies over time (not terribly much, close to the amputator taunt maybe, but lingering for a bit after they leave the area?) and maybe damages enemies over time It could actually compete with the crossbow because it would provide very unique utility to the medic: aoe healing, aoe chip damage, self-healing. And it'd be relatively easy to balance by just tweaking the healing/cooldown/area/recharge values
they should unironically just add the market gardener instead of trying to replace it. I hate the domination "balance" change more than anything and it makes losses due to a lucky domination from the enemy team after a wipe feel way too unfun.
I feel like they dropped the ball with this update. And they haven't been making anything interesting for a long time. More than half of their unlocks feel like a diet version of the existing unlocks from the vanilla game. Aside from that, the janny issue makes it less interesting to play. Medic's new health bomb launcher feels like it belongs to overwatch more than TF2 though. At least, that's how it felt using it.
I think it's possible, but the map would have to be really small, and the last point would have to be shared by every team, instead of each team having to get to their own point. The mode would in theory be very limited in 4team, and the maps would have to be very boring layout wise. I think king of the hill and capture the flag are the only modes that could really work and have good maps. There's just a lot that you have to consider, especially with modes that are much more open.
@@Wapako yeah, that much. The lag isn't a problem with my system, in fact even normal TF2 runs mostly fine with the occasional lag spike from having to load in the workshop vomit

It does feel out of place, but I think they handled it profoundly better than other custom weapons had
