Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is a 2015 action-adventure stealth video game developed by Kojima Productions and published by Konami. Directed, written, and designed by Hideo Kojima (as his final work at Konami), it is the ninth installment in the Metal Gear franchise, following Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes, a stand-alone prologue released the previous year. Set in 1984, nine years after the events of Ground Zeroes, the story follows mercenary leader Punished "Venom" Snake as he ventures into Soviet-occupied Afghanistan and the Angola-Zaire border region to exact revenge on those who destroyed his forces and came close to killing him during the climax of Ground Zeroes.
The game is played from a third-person perspective in an open world which can be explored either on foot or by modes of transport. Snake can use a wide repertoire of weapons and items and receive assistance from several AI companions, allowing the player to combat enemies either stealthily or directly. Enemy soldiers and resources found in the world can be transported to Snake's headquarters, allowing for its expansion and the development of further technology. The game includes two separate multiplayer modes, Metal Gear Online (also known as Metal Gear Online 3) and Forward Operating Bases (FOBs); the latter mode allows players to develop FOBs, which can then be invaded by other players.
this game is a blast without walkthroughs! My first playthrough i did everything without the internet, when i heard about the gunsmith i got really excited especially after extracting his students, have fun with it.
i love all the side ops in some reviews i watched people didn’t like them but they’re great

@@RobPlayingVideoGames will heres a tip if you have upgraded your intscope you can then just use it to scan what rank a soldier is and see what skill does he have just dont extract the ones with the diplomat or the troublemaker skills
What platform are you playing on? PC with controller, or does this game run that smooth on PS?
im playing it on ps5 with an Acer monitor and i keep 250 to 350 gb free from the ssd cause i read that it helps 🤷♂️

@@makemesmellbad3844 yeah im really happy with the ps5 when my lady brought it home I did my research on it and im glad i did cause then I got the monitor and a 1tb ssd for the m.2 storage to run. I had gotten a 2tb hdd for the ps4 months prior and i downloaded all my games to that, ones i never played cause my ps4 never ran right it was always choppy and took forever to load so
