Hello, Mike. I know I'm doing something horribly wrong. I have opened the same codeplug you did in your video, clicked on tools, then export channel list. Several times. All I get in the pop-up is "No files of this type found."I do have "Open office" installed on my computer. It has Spreadsheets. Does it need to be a specific Office Suite with spreadsheets?
Yes, it has to be Microsoft Excel. It uses a specific Microsoft Office API to do its thing. I also tried with other office suites with no luck. Has to be MS Office.
I've had a CS750 since it came out. I was actually on the waiting list to get it from Connect Systems. I understand that there is a learning curve but this is the worst radio/software I've ever touched (and I started on first wave Chinese radios). Since I've had it (3-4 years), I've never been able to use it through a full charge. Either the software or firmware glitches, they take down software or something else changes between uses and it requires new programming. Not fun at all.
If you haven't, I suggest checking to make sure you're using the latest firmware, as CS did make improvements to it as time went on. If you have, all I can say is I'm sorry you had a bad experience.
