Nice, but nothing compared to the Battleship Yamato model at the Battleship Yamato Museum in Kure, Japan! The scale 1:10 and the size of a small yacht!
actually it's model of the Missouri ,see quad 40mm mount on turret 2 Iowa only had 3 20mm guns there so they wouldn't block the lowest sights of the 3 level conning tower for the Admiral running the fleet the New Jersey ,Missouri &Wisconsin all had the 40 mm up there & there are a few other differences between the ships , incidentually the brass model at the state capitol in Jefferson City MO. has the model of the Iowa with the 20MM guns on turret 2 instead.
I live in des Moines iowa and I always went to the state capital to see the uss iowa model I always love too look at it.
However the model has " Iowa " on the stern, and 61 on its bow.
@@johnbockelie3899 Revell model making company produced a model of the 1983 version with all of its upgrades. I don't know if it is still available.
I visited the ship in San Pedro, CA one month ago. It looks in good shape.
Where did you learn how to make a video? A person could get dizzy watching this!
This was before I learned how to edit sorry
My model is nothing compared to that
