as a kid i thought of doing this to model kits and using bb guns to make believe they're the big guns of the Battleships.. glad to see someone thought of doing this too
For people asking, everything in these boats are completely waterproof apart from the radio receiver which we keep from getting wet, either by using ballons sealed at the end by blu tack and cable ties (this has never failed on us) or in blocks of resin. When they sink they are recovered by a float that is normally the main superstructure that is made out of foam so it floats really well that is attached from the float to the boat by thick string around a main hull frame, a sunken battleship usually weights about 35kg full of water when you pull it up. Most battleships shoot 1/4 inch steel ball bearings around 150 feet per second using CO2. They are 1/144 scale of ships which were laid down or in commission from 1900 to 1946. Everyone is more than welcome to turn up but for insurance purposes you have to become a member to use a warship. We play at the Workers Hubertus Country Club (205 Adams Rd Luddenham NSW 2745) every second Saturday of the month.
Is there certain area of the ship that you aim for that are made of a weaker material that get replaced ? I don’t understand that part or are u just destroying the the other ships by an means?
Real boats do that too for a little bit. Its because they are still considered sea worthy and must advance. Only when it is confirmed that they are sinking, they stop.
Aircraft carriers are quite useless in wargames actually. Imo it should have a time limit. Side with more aircraft carriers at the end of the time limit wins. Time limit=how long it takes to prepare aircraft.
@@Bored_Kaga I like that idea I pitch it to my club mates in California. We usually play 15 minutes (we don't equip gas for more) but we could extend it to 20 maybe.

Just going around the war ships, rubbing it in their faces like :“You aren’t allowed to attack me, Na Na NaNa Na !“ XD. Also props for that kid with his quick thinking of beaching the Lusitania before it went down !
No , they have floats that come off, we row out and get them back , empty the water out , patch up and go again. Electrics are all waterproof, go all day.
I'd love to see someone out there with a PT boat. arm the torpedo tubes with your cannons and see what a faster more maneuverable hull can do. Also, are any of these boats using scale "armor", or just basic hull thickness? Again... I think it'd be hilarious to see some "real armored" warships going at it.
Imagine if these ships were blown up to full size, the waves and the lake turned into an ocean, and we who watch this video are transported there to fight a battle that will probably kill us all...
i think your guys misssed a bit because when i went down there a few years ago i saw something at the bottom so i took a picture and researched it for a few weeks per year until i saw this amazing vid and worked out what happened
Makes me glad my boat has a mini waterpump system and flotation devices to keep it afloat if its shot in battles like these. sadly its a pain to repair though
