You taught this old guy a new trick. Two squares to measure the round tank.
Fair play Matt, Foxhills is a brutal track , looks like you were doing well. Looking forward to the Suzuki coffee wagon build 👍
Not only great content as usual, and skilful welding, but putting the video together was also great.
Cool mix bag. Motocross footage - Sweet. welding trolley too
Reminds me of my motocross weekends in the UK many years ago. On a Yamaha YZ250. Always got within a handful of riders into the first corner. Always finished within a handful of last place riders by the end. Lots of fun and totally exhausting. 🙂
I do love it mate, nothing else compares really.
Bloody hell Matt, so we're now mixing in Motocross with the welding projects, the channel from heaven!! Apart from the obvious stalls, it looked like you were doing really well in that race, rather you than me on those steep slopes.....well done.
It will be interesting to see how the all-singing, all-dancing new welder performs in all its different guises: sometimes making things multi-functional results in them not doing anything to an optimal level. I loved the adaptations to your welding trolley: really elegant and functional. I used to watch Motocross about fifty years ago when it was still called scrambling: it must have been very frustrating for you to have to keep passing the same bikes when you had the stalling problems, but you were certainly going well. Best wishes.
I think this ones pretty refined and well tested but I will be putting it through its paces for sure. Ill let you know how it stacks up. It was definitely getting irritating. Cheers
Brilliant video Matt, really enjoyed the fox hills motor cross!! You would have been up the front had it not keep stalling 😊😊
Awesome cart! One small improvement would be to move the tank strap to just below the upper mount, so that it pulls the bottom in when tightening it down instead of slightly levering the bottom out.
That's a good shout mate.
Looks like you've got a lot going on. Thanks for the update. And I think you did well on that track. Looks pretty tough.
Revolution and Stars and Stripes, you would think they’ve got over all that by now.😅
Nice rebuilding of your welding trolley
great craft working you do
G'day,
That was some awesome riding.
A video on the latest multi welders would be great. With all the different settings, now it's a bit confusing when trying to update from an older unit.
So im looking forward to your upcoming videos.
So thanks for updating us on what's been happening in your shop ✌️ Peace from Melbourne Australia.
Excellent...
Another great video, loved the motocross too.
Great to see you back. Looking forward to whats coming up
Him Matt , Not into moto cross myself but respect, as it looks well knackering ... you must know that you have done that the next day ? Another great video keep it up ....cheers Corey
You definitely feel it on Monday morning mate! Cheers
Foxholes looks mint.
4 strokes are a pain in the ass.
Really enjoyed the Foxhills footage mate, you were having a real good crack at it! Can we expect an enclosed motorcycle trailer build in the near future?😅
Brilliant!
Thank you! Love to see you interacting with the wifey.
maybe you might want to preclude any bowing of your van body that might have the upper bed fall off the rails you depend on. great--rails are fine except if body drops the bed. a bit of welding and you would have provisions for two nicely-positioned (clip-on) cables from one side of the van to the other, with convenient turnbuckles in each, and both cables guaranteeing the rails cannot bow outwards. naturally, they need not be terribly hefty, etc., to keep all sleepers safe! and if all-stainless, they could also be where your socks might dry! or you could hang a small flat screen that would not be in the way for long, etc..........
You picked a good machine for alu welding !
All good stuff...Keep them coming 👍
Yayyy, ECU change! 👊👊🏁
Are you going to have a go at the European hillclimb series...?? Or just stay UK
Nice cart build there matty - are those welders gonna be for sale in the UK or is this more to promote sales in USA?
Nice work again 👍 was interested in HTP welders but didn't think you could get them over here (easily). I went digging and saw they're actually made in Italy by a company called Stel who have actually bought out HTP now. I'm not in the UK, but there's a UK shop for Stel, haven't found an EU one yet though I'm sure there's one somewhere... looking forward to the ongoing projects matt 👌
