I'm a man in my early 20s and I was just doing chores around the house listening to your channel's videos, which I just came across. I eventually started thinking about the choices I had made sexually in the past and began to feel a deep sense of regret. The next thing I know, I see this video having been posted a few minutes ago. God truly works in mysterious ways and I can't thank him enough for the blessings and guidance he brings into my life. Thank you so much for the messages you convey through your UA-cam channel. I love how you show that it's still possible, and more important than ever, to apply God's teachings in our modern world.

I think a lot of us who haven’t fallen to the same type of sin would appreciate a video on how to better understand and process knowledge of a romantics partners past transgressions. The retroactive jealousy and resentment is real

I feel that jealousy is a type of pride. If the person has moved on from their past and sincerely regrets it, chances are they do not enjoy remembering what happened in their past in that area. I feel that way about my regrets. Chances are you'll never fully understand what another person went through in their past, even if they do share with you some of what happened to them. You may assume things about how they may have felt or what led them to it but you'll never really know. It could have been a terrible relationship that they really regret. If they are truly sorry about it chances are it is painful for them to remember it.

@@mariemunzar6474 Telling someone that their jealousy (hurt) is a form of pride is seldom a good way to approach the situation. I acknowledge that you're communicating a factual statement, but pleas refrain from telling us our insecurities are a sin. It's a really bad look.

@StoneAgeWarfare the thing is if a person's past is personally hurtful to you so that you feel jealous rather than concerned for them about what they may have gone through you need to remember that this person is a human being and that you don't own them or their past life experiences even though you are in a relationship with them. Yes it can be painful when someone opens up to you about their past. But if this person is your partner they are here because they love you and want to build a future with you. They are not here to validate your ego and if you are feeling jealous of their past or are doubting their love for you because of it then it probably is not the right relationship with real love or the relationship hasn't emotionally progressed properly or something is off otherwise.

Wow. This is timely for me. I don’t know why but I always feel shame about this. Even with confession. I fear I didn’t confess enough details and Jesus will think I’m holding back. Then I think Jesus will be upset I didn’t trust his forgiveness.

From the visions of Christ and diary of St. Faustina:
"Humanity will not have peace until it turns with trust to my Mercy." - Diary 300
"Be not afraid of your Savior, O sinful soul. I make the first move to come to you, for I know that by yourself you are unable to lift yourself to Me. Child, do not run away from your Father; be willing to talk openly with your God of mercy who wants to speak words of pardon and lavish His graces on you. How dear your soul is to Me! I have inscribed your name upon My hands; you are engraved as a deep wound in My heart." - Diary 1485

As someone who grew up Protestant, I was never taught the negative mindset you described as an issue in the Protestant church, about Christ not seeing us as truly made new. Many Protestants believe exactly what you teach in this video about being made in the holy image of Christ not being defined by our choices/past, as truth and that’s a great thing.

This is something I struggle with every single day, when I was a teen I had a relationship that turned purely sexual and it did a lot of damage to the point where I honestly struggle with loving another without the thought of the sexual aspect. Had a relationship about a year ago and it slowed started to go that way and time and time again it almost get to us having sex and I'd have to pull away and stop it and it felt like my heart was being ripped out of me. I long to be a better Christian and have community and relationship with another but often times I wonder if I can again because of those scars.

It’s very much possible. Let me share my testimony with you. I was the scum of the scum 15 years worth of a pornography addiction ever since I was 12 finding it one day since my parents were Catholic but has no idea about anything. Last year in 2023 on Divine Mercy Sunday, I broke down and cried to God asking for help and mercy for all that I had done and to save me from it all as I tried before but failed. For the first time I actually prayed to God outside Church and it was asking for repentance. Since that day I prayed the rosary for the first time, read the Scriptures for the first time in my spare time, and prayed daily. All this helped me to quit the addiction and move forward not being a slave to it everyday despite the deformity it left in my soul to be inclined towards the sins with the thoughts coming on. Yes I backslide time and time again but it was not everyday like it used to be or every week. Now I am at the point of seeking God and trusting Him for healing my broken soul so that the thoughts become less and less and the lustful urges die. It’s still a battle for purity at age 28 but God is good and is using even my sins to teach and instruct me for my own good despite doing this great evil. I chuckled the other night when I saw St. Francis of Assisi struggled with the same vices of lust, pride, impatience, and anger and overcame them seeing that God out of his Sovereignty foreknew I would struggle with these same things knowing I would choose him as my patron saint for Confirmation putting me under his special care as well.

Imitate Jesus even though he is God and had no need to be baptized he chose to enter into our humanity and still kept it close to Him to this today with Jesus in Heaven. Only a Christian can throw away the reality that if your current choices define your dignity then so do the past choices... Jesus won't take away your infertility if your vaginal microbiome is too diverse... And then they go "The Mercy of God is SO Great! Beyond anything we can imagine" and I go *massive cope barf...*

Actually Jesus, being God the Son, did in the Old Testament with Sarah, Rebecca, Rachel, and Hannah, and more women. So you can’t say God did not work miracles before with fertility. The question is are you willing to trust Jesus and God for a miracle, blessing, and believe He can do it while only wanting to give you nothing but goodness and good things?

You make a wrong presumption in the first sentence. Jesus made the choice to dignify us, we didn't. Once he died on the cross, now we have access to that mercy.
We can't choose to suddenly get dignity as if it wasn't there before. The prostitute always has dignity given from God, because she was made in the image of God.
I think way more sad is the reality you live in, in which you can never start over, you are completely defined by your choices for eternity and there is no hope of forgiveness and reconciliation. That is an eternal hell.
Btw, check out St. Mary of Egypt prostitute turned Saint if you don't believe in radical transformational God changes.
