    Well it's just a matter of time that you get huge subscriber base. Your production level is amazing, all the demo parts are perfect, no mistakes whatsoever, superb technique, clean and respectful delivery and also you glow humbleness and friendliness. Everything one would want from a teacher. Keep it up my dude!

      Oh I must say I use minimal editing on my own parts because I didn't want them to be perfect, so that they retain a human feel but I suppose they're good enough haha. I do intend to increase the production levels for 2017 as there are still so many things that I'm learning about video and audio production. and I've always admired people who were humble and friendly other than being really skilled at what they do. Thank you so much Matias, your words really mean a lot to me!

    Thank you all for your feedback, the voice issue has been irritating me too and I will definitely purchase a new mic for clearer voice production in 2017. Have a good last week of 2016 everyone!

    You seriously have the most helpful progressive-drumming instructional videos on the entirety of UA-cam. I'm not a drummer myself, but your videos have helped in numbers when it comes to programming drum parts for my band. It's awesome that I have stumbled across your page while you still only have 1k subs, because soon you will absolutley be a youtube hit! Keep up the wonderful lessons, and awesome playing! Cheers!

    Would you say 6/8 is the most versatile time signature 🤔

    • @ArtOfDrummingHQ
      @ArtOfDrummingHQ  7 років тому +5

      Sort of, If you know how, 6/8 can become 4/4 and 3/4 too, so I would more accurately say, that all those 3 time signatures are really versatile

    • @astrictus7123
      @astrictus7123 7 років тому +1

      Yeh i guess so, was watching your vids on some of anika niles time signature changes, ur vids have made that stuff a bit clearer for me, like i can feel the music but cant explain it lol

    • @ArtOfDrummingHQ
      @ArtOfDrummingHQ  7 років тому +2

      I learned them through trying to play my favourite songs and absorbing my heroes. Gavin Harrison was my main inspiration for the time signature stuff, I totally recommend his DVD/books Rhythmic Visions and Rhythmic Horizons.

    how in the world do you learn AAL note for note so quickly. pls make a video how you approach it.

    • @ArtOfDrummingHQ
      @ArtOfDrummingHQ  7 років тому +1

      The short answer is I slow it down, figure out the time signature by listening to all the instruments, next figure out the strong beats and any patterns/groupings, and lastly fill in the spaces. However now you don't have to with regards to Madness of Many because Matt Garstka released full transcriptions of the entire album on his website. Go check it out! Though it'll still help with everything else that needs figuring out and I will definitely make a video about my approach in 2017.
