Wish I was young again to try some of these things on club head speeds. Some of these tips help a little bit, but at my older age I would be happy to get to 100 mph club head speed. Right now I am only at 85-90 club head speeds at age 72. take care.
Look for more videos from us on items to help with speed. I am 55 and working on what Nate shows I can get to 110 MPH and no stiffness in the back after a practice session.
I am 35 and have a club speed of 85 mph I hit the driver 210 yards middle of the fairway 6/10 times . Low club head speed works for me, yeah not the longest drives but enough for me to get round the course well. I am 12 handicap
I’ve topped out at 127mph going absolutely all out about 3 years ago but tbh I don’t think I could touch that rn. Was doing a lot of working out then also
Sorry - not sure I understand your question - we have some other more recent videos that talk a a lot more about arm rotations in the swing. Try ua-cam.com/video/OC_l3zFV5pQ/v-deo.html and see if that helps answer your question.
If you look at this swing you will notice the arms are not attaching towards the ball - the arm motion is down the right side of the body. This allows the body to freely rotate in posture and maintain. From there you can maintain a great angle of the shaft relative to the lead arm that can be rapidly released through the impact zone. Also there is a good full turn at the top in posture. Check out this other video on our channel - may help you understand better that Nate does with his right arm in the downswing that is key for speed. ua-cam.com/video/aTUzjnEcp0A/v-deo.html. Thanks for watching!
PGA Tour driving distance ranking as of last week: 1 Cameron Young 323.0 yards 2 Byeong Hun An 322.4 yards 3 Xander Schauffele 322.1 yards 4 Rory McIlroy 321.1 yards 11 Jordan Spieth 315.9 yards T16 Dustin Johnson 314.1 yards and this guy drive 333.8 yards. LOL
His average driver speed when he plays is higher than tour average - but it does look pretty smooth when you get a chance to play with him. I've seen a 139 clubbed speed.
Yes - we have other videos on the channel where we measure Nate's ground force. He has over 2x his body weight on the lead leg at about the time the lead arm is parallel to the ground on the downswing. Good observation.
Check out some other videos on our channel that show Nathan with a 139 clubhead speed. Agreed, if he really wants to amp the speed then he generates a bigger turn.
Nate is fit and clearly that helps. We will be doing more videos going over details on the movement pattern and shot feelings that can help anyone get more speed while maintaining spine posture . A lot of the speed comes from being able to freely move the elbows left through impact.
Physics get really fuzzy for athletes because of the variances in bio mechanics. Big is good but in the end tall is better. Lots of teenage golfers want a long drive or a stinger shot because it’s cool but they lack size and height to do it properly. If you want lower scores on your course you have to be honest with your own limitations and work around them..
@@saturnmoon5488 My friend has two sons who top out at 5'9" and don't weigh more than 145 lbs. They routinely drive the ball over 300 yards and don't look like their straining. They have mastered the geometry and physics of the golf swing, at least as it relates to getting significant swing speed.
Clearly not everyone is going to go as fast as Nate, but when you have the clubhead coming from behind you and the hands get moved up and left it kicks the club down and out to the right with tremendous velocity into the ball. Getting the weight of the club out of line with the force on the handle means the way to the club wants to follow the force of the handle, in other words club head shoots down and out to the right to follow the force of the handle which is going up and left and then of course the clubhead continues to follow the force and it ends up in to the left as well.

Still 72 years young! You have another 20 years or so to play golf so add up some muscles and you will be back on track to pull off 100 mph
@@ratdammooo thanks mate , would like to get better 👍🏻
@@ratdammooo Thank you. I will try. I used to shoot in the mid 70's for 18 holes when I was younger. Happy Holidays to you and take care.
Some great concepts and drills to practise. Thanks.
Glad you like them!
I like the little nod at the end🔥
When you get to play a round with Nate and he smokes it 350 down the fairway you'll see the same little nod...... :).

Hello, from P4 to P6 you pull down the both arms with raising the left shoulder or arms fall indepenently sooner first?

Nate what type of driver and shaft do you use, the sound is so pure.
Nate uses Taylor Made Sim Max with hzrdus smoke green tx 70. Yes the sound is pure :).
I’ve worked so hard on my iron game that my driver game simply died. I mean died.
Great!
Across the line and over the top. That swing may work for long drive but not tournament golf
I got 100-105 mph in highschool but trying to gain at least 7 mph

His speed is mostly to do with a tonne of downforce and the timing of it.

From my unprofessional view it seems like your lacking alot of potential rotation in your back swing where you could be generating more speed

Well....being built like a thick brick wall can also help in getting a 126 mph swing.

So if I swing up and left I’ll swing it faster than tour average. OMG so easy 😂😂😂😂
