I have had to move a lot of stuff over the years. When you have a heavier load I tie a rope to the ends of tarp or drop cloth and then to a tree. Works really well. (until tarp rips) keep up the great videos!
I saw on one of Bob Wells videos, Cheap RV Living, where he did a video on solar panels. There is a company in Gilbert Arizona called San Tan Solar. They have 250 watt solar panels for $50.00. @They are labeled blemished. Bob said they all work like they are supposed to. They are used. Bob said they might have been used for a few year but said that the panels will work from 10 to 20 more years, depending how you take care of them. Glad to see another one if your videos. Peace!
I just subscribed. Enjoyed your video. Thank you for sharing your experience and expertise. Praying for your safety, strength, health, wisdom and success in His Holy Name. ☝️🙏🙌❤️💪🎯
As a Building Inspector in Arkansas I can tell you...If it has tires it can not be inspected under the Nation Building code or any state/county codes...put some wheels on you tiny house and your done ...
@jamesedwardson605 Do the axles/tires have to be street legal? I don't even know how to ask the right questions. I too have a similar building situation, in Tennessee. 😢
Interesting - we have heard some people suggest this. We will definitely be considering it and will try to figure out what the best move is us in the long term. Thanks!
Lay down a tarp in the bed of the truck and tie a rope from the corners of the tarp to a tree and drive it. The wood debris will slide right off with the tarp all at once and you can roll the tarp over by hand removing the debris into a pile and reuse the tarp pull method as needed. It would save you a ton of time.
I absolutely love those charms the beautiful sounds and you could tell when a bad weather comes and sometimes you can just close your eyes and listen to them make a put you sleep that it was beautiful
G'day peoples all the way from South Australia, love this channel. Nice to see happy yet unashamed to show feelings people. I know you'll get things done and I look forward to seeing more
Goodmorning! We appreciate really appreciate it! We are getting things figured out and deciding what is best for us in the long run. Thanks for the support!
Hello!" Glad to see you both again. Nice solar pannles. Sorry about your beer attempt. Like you said just order it again. And try again. Best of luck.😊
I did nearly the same thing but in my oven. I was making authentic full size french bread. To get the crust right you need steam. But I now strongly suggest not using a glass dish heated in the oven to pour you boiling water into. You’ll get steam plus your oven proof glass dish will shattered into a million little pieces that I still find today, several years after my failure to think.
My heart dropped with that broken carboy but I know you will pick up the pieces and succeed. Great thinking on the portable solar. Can’t wait to see the drone shots when the trees start changing. As always stay safe and love ya!
What the video made look like a short amout of time was 3-4 hours of prepping, setting up and cooking for a shattered carboy lol. It was quite disappointing but honestly was a good lesson to not try to cram too much into one day - things start getting a little too sloppy. Yes we are super excited for the leaves to change here - a few trees have changed a little but we are in a bit of a chill over the next few days so I'm thinking the colors will really pop soon. As always, thanks for the support - with love!
Yeah it was a bit of a disappointment but I am going to use it as an excuse to upgrade my fermenter (have to look at the bright side! haha) Appreciate it - 4 years in just a few days. Cheers!
Hey just to let you all know on your solar panels they need to set at 30° to optimize the best of the sun and it will really work the best just letting you all know
❤...Hi Matt and Cass..sorry about the beer..next time!! Solar panel job looks great!! Best of luck in all you pursue. Lord bless you both, pets and ranch.😊
Awe 😮I feel so bad for you and your attempt to make beer 🍻 for Halloween 🎃 👻. Anyway the solar panels came out great !! I love how the two of you complement each other’s work and energy. You make a amazing team ❤️🔥✌🏼😎🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸
Just a thought but, have you considered used residential panels? I have a temp array made of 8-340 watts panels that were CHEAP. They work fantastic! Videos can be seen of the setup on the 7x14 conversion playlist on my channel. I can break it down in about an hour and the rack can be moved by 2 people.
They make heavier duty bed rollers! Just get used conveyor roller belt (8 to 12ft sections usually) cut & lay side by side to fit in bed with the belts re-fitted by heavy duty nylon/leather thread hand-sewing. Use a hand-crank winch handle at the tail end OR have load on used carpet, thin ply, scrap sheet mtl, even strong (dry!) cardboard base to just yank load out.//Steve.
To keep from losing everything ive spent on this. I would talk to the Amish company who built the structure. After hearing what you are facing, they might be willing to come deconstruct the ladt exterior wall that was put on then allow you to photograph and on video say how you have deconstructed your cabin with the help of some friends.and now you are down to the very last wall to go up. Put some shots of the two of you working on it. And take pics of the wood pile. Thaen viola you have the building you wanted... Like the architect said the State will not Trespass. It might sound like a pain in the butt but its worth the effort to not waste all the money you have spent. Then you are home free... And can live hoqever you want.❤❤
FYI, if you get the bed roller for unloading the truck, you will only be able to haul about 1/3 of what you had in that load. Just a heads up on that before you buy it.
Your project is amazing and if it works for you that's fine. when I saw your design played out it was amazing. My thoughts were use some sort of metal to slide back and forth and use something like a stepper motor and paired that with Arduino and an Arduino sun tracker design and with that it will autumnally fix itself in the position of the sun at all times. Sorry my mind was just thinking out loud. Thanks for the hard work both of you..
We love connecting with people like yourself that may have a different idea or thought than ours. It is awesome to hear others views on how they would have done something. We love to see creativity grow :) One thing we learn on the ranch here if it works than it works haha :)
Hi! Found your channel recently. Love you guys! ❤ Can you share where you got the cabin? I just bought some acreage in TN and would love to explore that cabin. May even gonna buy more land! Thanks!
If you check out Martin Johnson off grid living UA-cam channel he might be able to tell you where you can get free yes free used solar panels also if you can find an house for habitat store called RESTORE in your area you will find alot of great deals in this store for cheap prices great for people just starting out
Need a pichfork. For that job
Awww bummer!!!
Happens :) You learn a little more every time. Just have to make another batch lol.
At least the coffee was ninety three octane
TRUE! Haha - I might need some of that to get going this morning
Life is a series of knowledge events that you gain from failures! Intelligence comes in when you learn to apply the knowledge.
You get it! The Ranch is one huge learning curve for us!
Time saver tip. Just lay a heavy duty tarp in the bed of.the truck for anything you need to dump out
That would have definitely helped haha :)
Don't burn that mulch. Save it for the garden or compost.
If you put a drop cloth down on the bed of the truck you could just pull it out easily
Great idea! I've done it with tarps for leaves and sticks - not sure if this might have been too heavy but worth a shot!
I have had to move a lot of stuff over the years. When you have a heavier load I tie a rope to the ends of tarp or drop cloth and then to a tree. Works really well. (until tarp rips) keep up the great videos!
Ah fantastic! Never thought of doing that. I'm sure a tarp rips every now and again but worth we're going to give that a shot. Appreciate the support!
I was just about to post that... 😊
If you have space you might want to create a camping spot kinda like an Airbnb. A little extra income. Just don't tell the county...😊
Trial and error is a part of life my friends.
Very true! And very much a part of our life here haha
Alcohol abuse🍻💔😢 Maybe your friend who made the wind chime can make you a copper tube wort chiller- no more broken carboys.
I know haha :) It happens you win some and lose some lol. Just need to make another one:)
So cool how you can set up your saw in the middle of the road. Your Road.
You get it :) We love having the road for a nice project space?
Good music
Thanks, Jeff!

We will have to take a look at that. Thanks so much for the information and being here for another video. See you on the next one.

Happy to have you here for the ride :) It means so much. See you on the next one
Happy Anniversary
Thank you so much 😀

Lay a tarp in the truck bed before you load up all the mulch…..then pull the tarp out all in one shot
Yes! We've done it with leaves before but didn't think to do it with that load - would definitely make things easier
You have a nice big open field. Perfect for Frisbee.
We try to play Frisbee once a week there :)
Lay down a tarp in the bed of the truck and tie a rope from the corners of the tarp to a tree and drive it. There is nothing better :) Putting up little things like that really make this place feel like home
G'day peoples all the way from South Australia, love this channel. Nice to see happy yet unashamed to show feelings people. I know you'll get things done and I look forward to seeing more
Not much worse than spilled beer. Wait, hold on - yes there is. I feel your pain.
It was quite the let down - hour of work "down the drain" (well poured over the compost pile lol) Appreciate the support!
I appreciate this video, and have referred to it several times. The joke Matt wanted may have been "Just say no to crack." 😅
I’m sorry your beer was ruined. I still always enjoy watching your live my dream to be soon one day. You’re going to be fabulous!
It happens haha. Next time the beer will be better. Thanks for being here on our journey
Dang! My mouth was watering at the thought of pumpkin/coffee beer! LOL
Will have to brew up another batch once I get a new fermenter! haha
Hey to morning you guys hope you guys are getting everything straightened out you guys should be able to live in their you're camping 🏕️🥾
Goodmorning! We appreciate really appreciate it! We are getting things figured out and deciding what is best for us in the long run. Thanks for the support!
Try putting a tarp in the bed of the truck, then the wood chips on top. And pull that tarp out , to dump the chips. 😊
Yes! We have done this with leaves before but it didnt cross my mind to do it for the chips. Will definitely do that next time!
Awesome amazing epik video
Thank you so much! We appreciate the support!
The beer sounds so delicious!
Oh no! I wasn’t done watching! But pumpkin coffee sounds so good
It was such a let down! I am going to order a new fermenter and go at it again soon!
Select monocrystaline panels and all you need is daylight to keep charging your battery bank.
Hello!" Glad to see you both again. Nice solar pannles. Sorry about your beer attempt. Like you said just order it again. And try again. Best of luck.😊
Appreciate you being here for the journey :) Cheers friend

You know sometimes you got to make the mistake to learn from it haha :)
Hey guy love the content.
There is a tool for wood working that make the connections super strong.
It is call kreg jig for screws and the kreg screws
Thanks for being here and the information :)
if you have trouble with yer yeast, check yer PH. spring water tends to be hard with a very high PH.
Great tip - I'll keep that in mind when I brew the next batch. Cheers!

You guys will love the Extra solar.....A big WOOT WOOT for progress. Best Wishes

Did you guys get the stuff worked out so you can live in the cabin ?
did i miss that? are you able to live in the cabin now?
Awe 😮I feel so bad for you and your attempt to make beer 🍻 for Halloween 🎃 👻. Anyway the solar panels came out great !! I love how the two of you complement each other’s work and energy. You make a amazing team ❤️🔥✌🏼😎🫡🇺🇸🇺🇸
Thank you so much :) When you whole life is working together and creating together you have to support each other... It is so important :)

We haven't but that might be a good idea. Thanks for the information :)
Good morning, could you help me with some names of cities where I can search for land, please?
It all really depends on what you are looking for. We used Zillow and land.com
I work on the oldest house ln town like Fort wood
Still wondering what is going on with the cabin are you going to be able to live in it ??
what are you going to do with the shed?
They make heavier duty bed rollers! Just get used conveyor roller belt (8 to 12ft sections usually) cut & lay side by side to fit in bed with the belts re-fitted by heavy duty nylon/leather thread hand-sewing. Use a hand-crank winch handle at the tail end OR have load on used carpet, thin ply, scrap sheet mtl, even strong (dry!) cardboard base to just yank load out.//Steve.
Wow that is awesome advice :) Thanks so much
Thanks!

Thank you :)
Making acorns safe is easy cook them in water
Did you hang the chimes next to the window by where you sleep ?🤭😆😁
bummer on the beer dude.
It happens. Ordered a new one to try again already haha :)
So you know zoning reasdel 3 . O if you put your solar facing the ground and a Meer under it it should boost them x2
Just stumbled on your channel. Love the progress. Love the tats. meaning behind the pineapple tat? I mean I know what it stands for
FYI, if you get the bed roller for unloading the truck, you will only be able to haul about 1/3 of what you had in that load. Just a heads up on that before you buy it.
Great heads up and definitely something to keep in mind! Cheers!
You are correct and if you put more you will drag it out the same way she was the old fashion way lol
Hi just started watching a good channel you can use a pitch fork on mulch it’s a lot easier

If the cabin had an axle from a junkyard with tires and trailer lights wouldn’t it be a camper and exempt from TN law on sheds ?
Hi! Found your channel recently. Love you guys! ❤ Can you share where you got the cabin? I just bought some acreage in TN and would love to explore that cabin. May even gonna buy more land! Thanks!
👍👍👍👍
How much propane do you guys use?
✌️❤️
Cheers friend :)
DAVENPORT iOWA dad joke OF THE DAY
[Q] what is the difference between Punctuation & Punctuality?
[A] only TIME will tell?
hahaha love it!
How rich are you guys?
If i was rich I would be hiring someone to do all of this work... Also I wouldn’t be living full time in a small campervan.
And the city not making the rules clear is like in trapment
