    Time saver tip. Just lay a heavy duty tarp in the bed of.the truck for anything you need to dump out

    Don't burn that mulch. Save it for the garden or compost.

      Great idea! I've done it with tarps for leaves and sticks - not sure if this might have been too heavy but worth a shot!

      I have had to move a lot of stuff over the years. When you have a heavier load I tie a rope to the ends of tarp or drop cloth and then to a tree. Works really well. (until tarp rips) keep up the great videos!

    I saw on one of Bob Wells videos, Cheap RV Living, where he did a video on solar panels. There is a company in Gilbert Arizona called San Tan Solar. They have 250 watt solar panels for $50.00. @They are labeled blemished. Bob said they all work like they are supposed to. They are used. Bob said they might have been used for a few year but said that the panels will work from 10 to 20 more years, depending how you take care of them. Glad to see another one if your videos. Peace!

  • @JesseRuark
    @JesseRuark Рік тому +1

    Lay down a tarp in the bed of the truck and tie a rope from the corners of the tarp to a tree and drive it. The wood debris will slide right off with the tarp all at once and you can roll the tarp over by hand removing the debris into a pile and reuse the tarp pull method as needed. It would save you a ton of time.

    I did nearly the same thing but in my oven. I was making authentic full size french bread. To get the crust right you need steam. But I now strongly suggest not using a glass dish heated in the oven to pour you boiling water into. You’ll get steam plus your oven proof glass dish will shattered into a million little pieces that I still find today, several years after my failure to think.

    My heart dropped with that broken carboy but I know you will pick up the pieces and succeed. Great thinking on the portable solar. Can’t wait to see the drone shots when the trees start changing. As always stay safe and love ya!

    • @RunawayMattCass
      @RunawayMattCass  Рік тому +2

      What the video made look like a short amout of time was 3-4 hours of prepping, setting up and cooking for a shattered carboy lol. It was quite disappointing but honestly was a good lesson to not try to cram too much into one day - things start getting a little too sloppy. Yes we are super excited for the leaves to change here - a few trees have changed a little but we are in a bit of a chill over the next few days so I'm thinking the colors will really pop soon. As always, thanks for the support - with love!

    They make heavier duty bed rollers! Just get used conveyor roller belt (8 to 12ft sections usually) cut & lay side by side to fit in bed with the belts re-fitted by heavy duty nylon/leather thread hand-sewing. Use a hand-crank winch handle at the tail end OR have load on used carpet, thin ply, scrap sheet mtl, even strong (dry!) cardboard base to just yank load out.//Steve.

    To keep from losing everything ive spent on this. I would talk to the Amish company who built the structure. After hearing what you are facing, they might be willing to come deconstruct the ladt exterior wall that was put on then allow you to photograph and on video say how you have deconstructed your cabin with the help of some friends.and now you are down to the very last wall to go up. Put some shots of the two of you working on it. And take pics of the wood pile. Thaen viola you have the building you wanted... Like the architect said the State will not Trespass. It might sound like a pain in the butt but its worth the effort to not waste all the money you have spent. Then you are home free... And can live hoqever you want.❤❤
