Great video but there are still a couple of things I'm unclear on (that's down to me, not Ben's excellent video). What is the difference between using a custom audience on its own vs using Advantage+ Shopping where you add a custom audience in Ad Settings? If you add a custom audience in Ad Settings, does that apply across all your campaigns? How do you choose a different custom audience for a new Campaign or Ad Set?
Thank you for clarifing on which type of Custom Audience to set as our Existing Customers (Website Purchase 180 days) Facebook has recently also rolled out a new Audience section for Advantage plus campaigns known as Engaged Customers. Can you please tell us which type of custom audience will be best suited for Engaged Customers?
I've tried using the custom audience "People who viewed content or Added to Cart but not purchased in last 180 days". However, when I created a new campaign using this engaged audience and purchase audience enabled setting, the campaign spending was really, really slow at the start. I'll closely observing it to see it changes in the next few days. Any suggestions?
Hi Ben, would you recommend this for companies like that sells mattresses where customers are not most likely to purchase again? Wasnt this for retargeting only? Thats why we were only including add to cart customers to this targeting. Would you say that adding purchased data will help meta find the lookalike audience? Wondering if there are risk of showing the add to people who have already purchased and not likely to buy again in the next few years. Thank you!!
Really appreciate your videos! 🤩 I'm wondering why they created this setting. How I understood ADV+-Technologies "telling Meta who is our existing customer" becomes obsolete when using Advantage+ technology (not just Shopping but also Advantage+ Audiences for example in a campaign with dynamic ads)? I thought here both remarketing and new targeting options in my campaign are automated by the “AI” or algorithm? Actually, the algorithm should also know about the data of converted customers and, if possible, carry out remarketing independently or if suitable address new people in a kind of LLA, or did I get something wrong here? Thanks in advance for an answer! 🙏
Hi Ben, do you have a video where it's explained more in depth how facebook learning works? More specifically, does facebook learn on ad account level at all? Or just on the campaign, ad set, and ad level?
What if you don’t have enough data for custom/lookalike audiences - can I still do advantage plus or is it best to wait to use it when you have more data? I’ve just started FB advertising!
Hi Ben-- Are there pros and cons to deleting old campaigns and ad sets in the same Meta Ads Account to start new ones for new DCT or any new strategy? Does the account still use helpful data from the past or hurt it due to bad unsuccessful campaigns and ads?
I made my first ad not getting any clicks or going on my lending page. And when you watch the video, it doesn't show the link. You have to go to the actual post. And when you watch the video and it go down to description. There's no learn more button when you watch the video
does facebook ad audience is often costlier? my $200 budget winner adset had $28 cpms and after using audience plus and spending $100 on that day , my cpms were $44 . why is that? now i had to turn it off and restart. maybe my mistakes were i should have "no't edited it to use Audience plus because it is a 'significant edit'? Ben i hope you read this
Hey Ben , just a quick question..if I made a campaign on a new account, adv audience and adv placement, I got in 3 weeks 750 landings on my page but still no inquiries. Also mega is spending all the budget on Facebook. Could you please help me with an advice 🙏🙏
I am from India, trying to apply this funcation in my ads manager but in ad account settings i am not able to see this function under ad account settings. Can anyone help?
Thanks Ben. I know you don't like dropshipping, but that's convenient before choosing a product. My question, should I exclude key words like "aliexpress" in my campaigns, or is it not relevant to do? Thanks
No with Audience suggestion, the options are far broader than the specific group you can set up here. There is some overlap of course but it's not identical.
Well they can't unless you create an upload your customer list and then let Meta know which customer list is the right one. They will do this based on Pixel data but that will only track for the last 6 months.

Great info, after I setup this, do I need to do anything on the ad level? Like add it as custom audience or just adding it on ad settings is enough?

Hello ! Thanks for the video. I was wondering why I do not have the advantage + shopping section in my ad account setting. Could you help me please
I cant find the Advantage plus shopping campaign in Ad Ac Settings, pls help.
Does adding custom audiences list in advantage + shopping work if we are targeting a new location and we have cUstom audiences of another location?
What if you don’t have enough data for custom/lookalike audiences - can I still do advantage plus or is it best to wait to use it when you have more data? I’ve just started FB advertising!
Oh you can still use it. You just want to make sure you set this up once you have started generating purchases

Archive old one bro
Hi Ben! This section is not in my settings? It ends after the "Ad account roles" part? Has it been moved?
Cool. Unless you have people who purchased anything. How to start from scratch?
You can still start, you just won’t be able to sue this feature yet :)
its now under Advertising settings
right ?

Does consent mode v2 also have something to do with Facebook?
@Ben - how do you find lookalike audiences targeting these days....still worth doing an adset for them?
Thank you! It is neccessary to have “the value” column there if I import it or just the people that buy are ok?
It's not necessary but it is helpful :)
Hey, Ben. Can you please make a video for how an auto insurance agent would advertise for just one state in the united states.

What if i want to target women's only?
because i tried using Advantage+ audience did select women but still targeting all genders !!!
You need to use manual campaign. Advantage + is for board targeting
You need to switch to the old format of targeting and that will allow to use targeting options as hard constraints.
@@BenHeath thanks

Sure why not
I didn't know Eddie Hearn was such an expert on meta ads...
Isn't this the same as Audience Suggestion which currently is in the targeting segment of Advantage+ campaigns?
No with Audience suggestion, the options are far broader than the specific group you can set up here. There is some overlap of course but it's not identical.
What it I don`t have any sales, only some visitors, should I write down an example target audience?
I would wait until you have generated sales :)
i used this option last month.now its not available.i want edit.where to find it ?
It does not sow the Advantage plus shopping option under my Ad Ac settings, where can i find it?
Not everyone has it I'm afraid. I imagine you'll get it soon though.
What do you if it says your custom audience is too small?
Amazing:)
These settings have moved, anyone know where they have moved to?
Amazing:)
at 1:36,, it shows me an option but not allowing it,,why is that,??,it says something go manage your account.
Hey Ben - CourseCareers sent you an email about a paid partnership. Let me know what you think.
What is this? Is this another lookalike thing or retargeting???
Neither, it informs all your Advantage+ Shopping campaigns.
🎉🎉 so what does it do exactly? How does this increase conversions for ASC
🎉
But isn't this the same as lookalike audiences?
There are similarities but it’s not the same. This feature is not as rigid as that.
nothing like this there
Not everyone has this feature yet I'm afraid.
cmon surely meta will do this anyway??? thats the whole point of getting sufficient conversion data to teach the algorithm, why force it.
Well they can't unless you create an upload your customer list and then let Meta know which customer list is the right one. They will do this based on Pixel data but that will only track for the last 6 months.
U cant specify interest so you're showing ads to people that may not be interested so therefore wasting money
