Kansas obviously has some nice places to camp, that is where my sister & brother-in-law live and they are snowbirds so are on the road during the winter months. Brutal there in the dead of winter and so so hot in the summer. Thanks for the ride a long and love that you are both enjoying retirement and drama free time.

29:50 I remember driving this route when i was taking my Mother to the Va Medical center in Gainesville everyday for her cancer treatment. I stayed in Wandering Oaks RV resort in Ocala Nice campground.

We have a county park here on the Nishnabotna river..They did maple tapping this weekend, yes they have Bison and a few other animals..My 14 y/o grandson has been fascinated by bison since he was a baby..

Pool noodles can help with your awning to get rain to slope off. Tuck pool noodle between brace & supports and you have a little bit of an angle for rain to drain off

Always check your water connections after EVERY trip. They have a tendency to come loose. Happy camping. We just brought our travel trailer home yesterday from our hunting camp. I LOVE CAMPING. #HappyTrails

Our girl scout troop had a motto "Leave it cleaner than you found it." I still that today. Sometimes is drives my husband crazy. 😇

What fun! Are buffalo native to Florida too? I didn’t think they were, but I learn something everyday! Now wait until you see them in….Wyoming! I think it’s Wyoming. And the wild horses across the Plains, and in Northern Nevada…..just stunning! There is so much to explore across the US on your way to Alaska! Can’t wait to see your take on things! My brother and his wife retired, and now in the summer they have a trailer in Canada 🇨🇦 (home) and in Florida for the winter. They are loving life.

Thanks for sharing the actual poison ivy plants. I too am highly reactive to poison ivy, I got poison ivy in December because my neighbor burned some of the plants. None of my siblings got it. I couldn’t even pick up leaves for identification in the fall for school because I would get it because the leaves I picked up were close to the vile plants. Looks like a great time! Keep on keeping on!

Love this place! I went to pet a bison in AZ who was in an enclosure. I reached thru the fence just as she decided to scratch her horn on the fence. I got caught between her horn and the fence. Huge egg like swelling on my hand, had to wrap it up. I found out later I had a fracture. So that is my bison story!
You have a great RV Tiffin has a great reputation. My husband and I have a bumper pull trailer about a year older than yours and not a Tiffin. But our awning tips when rain gets on it, and if it gets too windy it closes. We are on the west coast so maybe they make them a little different. We go biking too, we are older and our tip is an electric motor for when you get too tired to go uphills lol. Lots of love from the senior generation

Yay guys, thanks for sharing another adventure, poison ivy, bison and alligators all in one vlog 😂😂 I’m not sure I would be so calm if I came across a huge alligator so close, but then living in the UK they are only in animal park and zoos so the chances are pretty slim Thank the lord.
