Thank you both for taking use an this historical trip. To see this from the Netherlands is very interesting. Lots of American soldiers did die here in the Netherlands for our freedom. There are still around 8000 graves here at a place that's called Margraten. Every soldiers grave has been adopted by a Dutch citizen, and every 4 and 5 of May they put flowers on the graves because that's the day you gave us our freedom back. Thank you.

It's amazing how individuals can be touched by viewing these monuments. It shows the love and respect for the ones who lost their lives fighting for us to be free and those who survived to share it personally. I pray at some point that the younger generations realize what our country is about and respect our flag and its meaning. My dad and my Uncles served in the ARMY. So seeing tributes such as those are awesome. Thank you for sharing. This is very informative. Beverly from Phoenix, AZ.❤

I grew up in Ohio not far from Wright Patterson A.F.B. There is a museum there with many WWII planes, more modern planes and even a space capsule. You can climb into the capsule and see just how crammed in the astronauts were. My dad was in the Army Air Corps during WWII. There is a plaque there honoring my fathers unit. Pretty cool. If you make it to south western Ohio you should stop by the museum. Plus, that part of Ohio is beautiful with state parks like John Bryant State Park. They have nice camping spots and incredible hiking trails. I am really enjoying your videos and I can't wait to see more. Thanks for the video!😊✌🚐🌴

Love watching your videos plus when you were actually the mayor and friends to both Jeremy and George. As a ex-serviceman of the Australian army. I had 23 years service and I can tell you no service vehicles are comfortable even the water ones. Yes, I had the misfortune of being on one several times, it’s how I found out that I get very sea sick. Lucky I had a sense of humour the males always teased me about creating great bait for them to fish from the sides.
I loved those years and made some life long friends.

Howitzers are still used in service today. My exe works for the US army as a civilian in the pyrotechnics division at the Picatinny arsenal in New Jersey. They did all of the modernization upgrades for the Howitzers in service there. It was really cool seeing them lined up outside the building where they were doing the upgrades. The pyrotechnic division she works with also designed the patriot missile.

Camp Blanding had the largest population in Florida during WWII. My family had a compound on the other side of Kinglsey lake. 3 houses and a huge boat dock. I almost drown in that lake. Twice
