Audio mixing on pets is a bit off. They're louder than your voice. You can fix that easily if it's two tracks. If it's recorded at the same time, you can frequency mix it down, since your voice is nice and low. That, or noise cancel it out and add it separately. Also, you can negate the pop when new audio track starts by fading it in very quickly. I've picked up some video/audio editing tricks over the years. 😋
