If I remember correctly, it was on episode 5, I think, where his eye (I forgot which one) was harmed, and that maniacal/psychotic laugh later on gave me Goosebumps. The entire series felt surreal. ...yes, it was a love between a knight and a royal, but it was an unhealthy one. Driven by madness, and twisted by the empire. It was unfortunate for Silas. Still, under all that craziness, and madness, one can tell he truly loves the royal very much, sadly his methods were just misguided.

Gotta enjoy that kinda switcharoo, it can be pretty fun A running gag in my dnd game is when my bard character will make a buncha sexual innuendos to piss off the druid’s father (he thinks it’s funny and the druid doesn’t like her dad much anyway), only to turn around and it turns out to be completely innocent “Don’t worry sir, your daughter’s safe with me in the tiny hut. We’re just gonna make some *sweet~ sweet~ music~*, yeah. It’s gonna be so good, imma make her *sing~*” and then he escorts her into the tiny hut and there’s just a keyboard in there for their piano lesson
