I used to like chewing the gripping hands, so most of my Action Men would end up with no fingers. But all was not lost, because back in the 70s you could send a postcard to Palitoy and they would send you a tiny box containing a new pair of hands.
I got given a ton of action men when I was younger in the eighties and vehicles sad knowing they were all thrown out or given away but this was a great little video.
Sorry for the late reply. Im like you, I grew up in the 90s with the modern action man. They tried multiple face sculps in that era to try and sell more figures.
Action man were built to last. They could be what ever you wanted him to be. Wicked Pallitoy collapsed as result of Star wars figures you could see as little Lego figures. Pallitoy made action man figures. Not the cheap brickle easy to break plastic used today. I regret getting rid of the action man soldier I had as a kid plus uniforms Tank cannon and boat. Had them right up to early 2000s. Then probably couple years ago or more I wanted an Action man. So in the early months of last year I picked up the 1982 talking commander with eagle eye. Not good as the 73 action man I had. Then in January of this year. I picked up a 1973 talking field commander with field radio set boxed and a 1992 G.I Joe Duke army soldier unboxed. February another 73 action man pilot missing helmet unboxed. Scouts car and land rover Jeep and spare uniform. Last month 2 later versions of the action man not manufactured by pallitoy built in late 90s early 2000s and an Action man dinghy complete with motor board. Then 3 days ago I picked up the officer cadet Art and Science Hasbro. Boxed mint condition still tied to the card. Deep water salvage uniform still in package An Action man trunk and small bag of weapons in silver. Not sure what figures they go with as I'm only just starting collecting. But none can replace the one I had as a child

God that old advert narrowed it down “the very latest toys you can find in the shops”
Went on a lot of unscripted childhood adventures here in the US with Adventure Team joe. Thanks for the Kung Fu grip!
My 1st action man had hands like that and that was back in 84.
Love it! Really well done ! 🙂
Thanks so much! 😊

Well, maybe you need Toy Polloi on the job, he restored a paint covered Action Man to perfection.

Question: I'm a kid of the 90's. I grew up with an Action Man that had a different face and logo design. What was that?
Sorry for the late reply. Im like you, I grew up in the 90s with the modern action man. They tried multiple face sculps in that era to try and sell more figures.
