Test cricket will never be commercially viable...but its the best rest of skill. Commercially, it makes sense to split the codes. Realistically, limited overs cricket has to subsidise real cricket.

The recent poor batting in test cricket everywhere is proof that cow corner and reverse sweep are terms we really do not need to hear when talking about the real game. s a n NZer I'm pleased about the series V India, but was astonished at India's capitulation and appalled at some of their batting. I expected that from our guys as they tend to be hitters rather than batsmen ( not batpersons ).

T20 is baseball at this point and is not cricket. Sure love T20 and see 10 6s a game, but real cricket is about a contest not a swing speed exercise
People who say T20 is baseball has never watched baseball. Baseball is closer to Test than any other format.
