@@EastMidlandsRailwayFan I'm sorry to hear that, if you can hold on for a bit I'll compile it into an executable installer. I've been meaning to make a few amendments to this patch recently
I've installed your 180 pack numerous times (presume it's the updated version, it's from your site, as your link in the description is dead), and still get the default "kettle" sounds of this train. Any clues?
Regarding the link I recently made a URL change so all links will be dead until I get around to changing the video descriptions, however if you Google my site it's usually the first result. As for the sounds, could you describe the exact process you follow to install them?
@@SamT I have the same problem. What I do is download the .rwp file and then used TS Utilities' package manager to install the pack (whilst the .rwp file is inside the Railworks folder since I usually put it there so it's quicker to find the file) then clear the cache.
@@transportenthusiast11 If that isn't working as a last resort you can open the rwp file using 7zip or winrar and simply move the contents manually. This mod is however deprecated, it isn't receiving any more support
Excellent sound(s). Im a bit confused though regarding the 'extracting corrupts!' On your weebly page. Im not terribly seasoned with TS but i usually download a file, open the utility.exe, click install on the .rwp and thats it...? So im not sure what you mean. Eager to try these out.
If you extract the contents of an rwp and put them into your install it can make it extremely difficult to remove afterwards (should a bug be fixed or a change made). Should you want to remove the sounds if you extracted them you would have to reinstall the DLC completely.
@@SamT ah so youre referring to breaking open the rwp instead of 'drag and drop' . Also, once these are in place, do the stock use these sounds by default? (Such as the horrid 165 on JT chiltern ML )
Just wanted to pass on some info to you/anyone who might read this: Noticed from watching I can hear sound crackling / popping in the background when in the cab. If you can hear this in game and find it annoying, download the latest OpenAL32/64.dll files (from OpenAL) and place them in your railworks directory to fix it. DTG couldnt be bothered to do this themselves and I notice it in a lot of TS videos since TS2019 64 bit released.
Great sound pack! Im going to use your site everytime i feel like my train sounds horrible from DTG! You should probably change the horn though on this 180. Overall, This is a brilliant pack! Cant wait to download it!
It's quite old so feel free to change the horn around yourself if you have the source audio, I may come back to this pack in the future but I am very limited on time
UPDATE: The engine sounds have now been fixed, to obtain this update simply uninstall and reinstall the RWP file
Thanks mate
@Dave Norton I forgot to include a dependency which meant when people installed it, they'd still get default sounds
@@SamT Hi How do I install the sound pack becacause I'm doing what it says install it via the Utilities but cant seem to get it to work

yes good one yaw
why the feck is it on the slow lines to begin with?
You don't need to be Sherlock to realise it's because of signals

Seen the 180s once and this sounds quite spot on! Especially the high speed sounds. Nice work mate
Love it I’ve been waiting for this for ages I love the 180 great work once again
0:19 : *bursts into flames*
and then *you'll be going nowhere*
Never been on a 180 But this sounds superb 👍🏻
Your sounds are great man. Have you ever thought about trying to build sound files for ESU DCC decoders for model railways?
I would make sounds for DCC decoders if I had the money for model trains in the first place, as a student that's out of my ability :P
SamT haha, you would make plenty money from sound files to buy them im sure! 😂 please concider it some day!!
Yesss, just what we needed. Good work!
Nice one mate the 180 sounds a lot better
You've done a brilliant work again. Keep it up
Uey who's this
@@imtiazrahman1977 hello

Horn pitch is too high but apart from that, great sounds.
The horn sound hasn't been changed
Oof
Excellent
Though for some reason, mine still sound like default. Nothing like this.
Javelin yep so am i

Thank you. Judging from the vids alone, damn good 😉

hi sam any chance you could make a cLass 73 sound pack or enhancement pack ??? Just askin
Not bad :)
Thanks! It's odd to think that nobody had made proper sounds for this train yet lmao
In fairness, I've seen a soundmod in the past but I can't remember who made it as it was deleted.
Excellent!!!
Yeah man you really should've changed the horn as well because the DTG horn is not accurate for the real one.
but wheres free sauce lessons 4

Nevermind got on
Please update the certificate on your website, it now says that it's unsecure and I don't really want to risk it even though I'm sure it's fine.

Very nice!:)
How do I install the pack?
Download the rwp file and install it via TS utilities
You'll be going nowhere
