Everyone's worst nightmare but you did an amazing job....so much so that it makes me think I could do my own as well if the time every comes . Fingers crossed I never have to do that! 😩
I think it really depends on maintenance on the vehicle. I don't think these are as known as like the 3.0 in the 2nd gen 4runner, but like with anything if you see a lot of old coolant leaks, or evidence of poor maintenance history (like you can see in my videos), then there's a pretty good chance it can happen.
I watched this video thinking you were going to show a head gasket replacement? I think you should have called it pulling the engine transmission and transfer case?

Thanks again man! Glad to have your support! Hopefully not! But at least now you can see how it's done haha
Dude nice work! Love the FSM flashes, super helpful.
Thanks man! I also link the full FSM in my video descriptions if you need them!
Good info and easy to follow...thanks for uploading. Need to do the same to my 97 LC
It's not too bad of a task! I've also got the entire FSM download available in the video description if anyone needs it 😎
Great video, sorry to hear about this, big job for sure. Might as well replace all hoses which I think you are doing. Thank you for posting.
Thanks man! No worries, I like doing this stuff! Minus the waiting on all the parts 😂

The UA-cam algorithm is a fickle beast 😂. This is more of a multi part series as there was a lot of time gap been work.
Lizzie Avenue
the book says to do it this way
What suspension lift and tires did you have?
Iron Man foam cell (I think pro) 2.5" and tires are Goodyear Wrangler ATs, I think they are 275 (32.5") but I'm not sure off the top of my head.
How did you get the power antenna out?
Well lucky it wasn't connected to anything, so I was just able to remove the nut that's on top and pull it right off 😂
