Fun fact: When Mace Windu kills Jango in the Animation it's referencing how Jango's death was originally but they changed Windu not cutting his hand off.
About the Rookies episode, with the very important Rishi moon base being manned by Rookies. I was watching a WWII documentary about how the German Atlantic Wall was mainly manned by poorly trained or badly injured troops (and sometimes even captured Russians) because all of the good soldiers were recruited to other parts of the war. Part of the reason why D Day was a success. (And Omaha Beach was one of the few parts of the wall actually manned by veterans, hence why the fiercest fighting happened there).
Yeah having a low to no combat zone being manned by rookies seems like a good idea to spare the veteran forces for the main fronts… until those rookies need to deal with a major threat.
and Omaha Beach was also part of the wall where construction was just barely started the Atlantic Wall was by the time D-Day happened only half finished, but obviously the concentrated on different parts more than on other parts (because of limited resources); Normandy was one such place which was considered low priority compared to other parts
Watch. The. Show. Also Grievous was just flaunting when he said he'd been trained in the Jedi arts. Obi-Wan knew he used 4 lightsabers. Earlier in the same movie he says "We have a job to do, Anakin, try not to upset him," and "Not this time. And this time you won't escape." This to me implies they've met countless times.
@bacondorito except for Anakin, he says "you're shorter than I expected" and in the entire clone wars they never meet once, even in episodes where Grevious and Anakin are both there things happen that cause Anakin to split from Obi Wan or Ahsoka etc and they fight Grevious edit: even in the game only obiwan meets grevious
@@kn1ght_ch3f78 exactly. Makes perfect sense. Closest Anakin got to actually seeing Grievous was in a hologram when he captured Eeth Koth. Didn’t know how tall he was from that tho lol
No I don’t think Obi Wan and him really encountered each other much Grevious just has a reputation of being a coward. Watch the show he runs away a lot whenever he is in an encounter with anyone. I don’t really recall Obi Wan interacting with him much at all. And given the show goes over all the events from the end of episode 2 all the way to the battle of coruscant from the beginning of episode 3 there isn’t much time in between there where Kenobi and Grevious would’ve interacted.
When I was a kid, I remember seeing this game in Walmart or Target and I asked my dad if I could have it. He said no. Later we had dinner and I must've gotten a case of food poisoning because I got very sick afterwards. My dad asked me what he could do for me and I asked if he could get this game. He ended up buying it and I played it the next day. Such a fun memory for me
I have a core memory of playing this game when i had the flu my mom was watching me play and taking care of me cause I was really young and drinking tons of orange Gatorade.
Okay, so idk if you'll see this, but I wanted to explain a couple things: 1. The reason the super important base is manned only by rookie clones is bc it's super deep in Republic territory, and no one thought that Grievous would be crazy enough to raid the joint. 2. The "YOU FOOL! I HAVE BEEN TRAINED IN YOUR JEDI ARTS BY COUNT DOOKU" is less about being able to use sabers, and more about knowing how to counter Force abilities (at least these days)
Great video, insane that it only took 14 hours. I imagine waiting to complete true jedi till after you got multipliers was the biggest improvement as you mentioned. Still though, I remember this took weeks as a kid, who knew it couldve been done so quick

Dude Lego Star Wars 3 is my favorite Lego game ever and with me being a huge CW fan growing up as a kid (still love the show and game…I’m 20) it just hits home
The first two lego star wars games were great and i really loved them. This one was the one I was looking forward to since the day I saw the launch trailer. I really loved it and it introduced a lot of new mechanics which were not featured in the previous games. Great memories
This was my childhood game and definitely impacted my life in more ways than one, but i never actually 100%'d it. Cool to see what thats actually like because i had literally never heard of the Castle of Doom level before.
The mission on Florrum includes one of the 3-eyed species called Senators Kharrus who you can buy in the Resolute. He is instantly eliminated when the Shuttle crashes, but somehow Jar Jar survives. His other pal, Senator Philo, is shot during the hostage crisis on Coruscant. The race doesn't seem to have the stakes in their favor xD My least favorite level by far is Naboo - The Virus. Such a bad and never ending level.
I have never 100%ed this one but I played it a lot on Wii and then I bought it on steam last year for sale. It's really fun but the 100% grind seemed really annoying. Lots of minikits and ground battles that take forever. The regular levels are cool and even the ship ones are fun but those ground battles are a grind. I don't have extras unlocked but if I did they'd probably be better. Good on you for marathoning these lego games.
Dude I remember this from when I was a child on the PS2 this one was my least favorite from the Lego Star wars games at the time. It has definitely grown on me seeing everything again.

I also 100%'d this game, but for the Wii. I can't remember how much I enjoyed the rest of the game, but I do know that to this day, the ground battles left a really bad taste in my mouth. I thought I might have been exaggerating this in my mind at first, but when you reminded me that there were both Republic AND Separatist ground battle missions, it validated my original notion. In fairness, I don't think I used the Super Speeders red brick and played them as intended, which probably made them take a lot longer for me, but in my defense, as you said, it probably would've made it way more boring and even more tedious to just have to sit there with one vehicle holding down the shoot button. And come to think of it, I think my OCD brain probably compelled me to conquer every single plot of land for every single mission, so that probably made it drag a lot as well. And come to thing of it AGAIN, I think I also went back turned every planet to the Separatist side so it would be uniform, then turned them all to the Republic so I could say that I had every planet as fully both sides at one point, but ended on the Republic because that's my favorite faction. Since some start as one faction or the other, this means I would've had to do some missions multiple times, increasing the tedium yet again. No wonder I remember them being such a slog lol. Unrelated, but you technically didn't have it at 100% with everything unlocked if you didn't put in the code to unlock the secret character, Savage Opress.
I have a feeling that the force awakens is next. That game is easy to 100% mainly due to the small hubs given that this was made possibly around the same time as lego avengers and Dimensions
