Love Lego Star Wars The Clone Wars, more than The Force Awakens but not as much as The Skywalker Saga and The Complete Saga. I've had tons of fun with this game. 👍🏻
This for me is the most replayable of the games. Partly due to the level and gameplay variety, but also how fun it is to 100%. Not to mention the vast array of characters to choose from that aren’t in other games like Savage and Adi, and how every Jedi has a unique set of sabre animation.
I honestly remember all the 3 things you mentioned in the intro, wish they’d remake this game with all 7 seven seasons and LEGO games for Rebels and The Bad Batch

Easily best lego game ever. It just fellt like they gave it all their cooked up ideas that just created something hystericaly fun to play. Loved every second of all the encounters, and i went on for hours in the genosis map with my friend trying to get as many troops on the field as possible and just killing waves and no bases. Very fond memories lego Clone wars, thank you for existing ❤
Wow, I never played this one, or many lego games tbh, but it seems a lot cooler than the first one my sister and I played when we were kids. Might have to check this one out some time, thanks Flandrew!
What do you mean? Did you even watch the clone wars? Darth Maul is arguably more legendary or on par as ahsoka. And ahsoka is loved so that sais something. You must not be a hardcore star wars fan to have the guts to say nobody likes him. He has more character development then palpatine in the whole show.
I never really watched the Clone Wars series, but I think that a sequel to Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga could adapt the major events from all seven seasons of the Clone Wars, and possibly some content based on Tales of the Jedi, The Bad Batch, Rebels and Resistance. Great video as always, can't wait to see which game you compare each version of next!
One problem I had with the game is that, because the old Clone Wars episodes aren't very memorable, it was hard to follow what was going on with no dialog. (Even though I usually prefer no talking on Lego games.)
I think this game came out too early. A lego game based on the clone wars is a great idea, but it should've waited until further seasons came out. Even then, they picked some weird episodes to adapt. Why did you adapt all three Ryloth episodes when you could've had a level based on the Holocron Heist arc? Why was the final boss the Zillow Beast, and on that note, why the first encounter with the Zillow beast and not the Zillow beast fight on Coruscant? Why didn't you have the final level be an adaptation of the Night Sisters arc and have Savage Oppress be the final boss? Why, when you already have plenty of source material from the clone wars show, did you decide to make multiple levels based on Attack of the Clones?
Given that games take a while to make and that Clone Wars had a weird production order to start with is it possible that they were mostly using elements that were already finished when they started developing the game. As for the Zillow Beast as the finally. Its a giant monster if they didn't know Maul was on his way is it properly the best "Final Boss for a Video game" material in the first few seasons of Clone Wars. And properly only the first fight as that happened in a barren desert rather than the geometrically far more demanding Planet City that the second Fight took place on. I say the lack of anything from the Clone Wars Movie (as in the series first story arc that was released as a Movie) is far more confusing.
@@rynobehnke8289 I mean in regards to the lack of Clone Wars movie representation, there was the one level where you played Dooku. But yeah. I'd like to see a modern version of this game, that's allowed to draw on any arc they want

One thing i love about this game is those character voice by actual VA from the Tv series. Still crazy that they just do gibberish and mumbling for this game.
I love this game and would loveeee a sequel based on some of the later stuff in the Clone Wars. I played this game as a kid, closer to release, but I recently bought it on PC and have been playing it in my free time and it holds up SO well. Great video!!
Being that I grew up with CIV 4 on the PC and the original Lego star wars on the Gamecube, I always felt that Lego Star Wars 3 the clone wars was the Lego game made specifically for people like me, people that enjoy RTS elements while also not specifically only catering to us. if there were a Lego Star Wars the Clone wars II perhaps it can include the entire series and maybe a bit of the Bad Batch.
I loved this game growing up. my parents got it for me a little bit after it came out, I never even heard of it because I had limited access to the internet. Really my only way to go online was on the Wii, I played it pretty much every day but I never really had an interest to browse the web. Anyways, I still really would like to 100% it, I bought it again on Steam a few months ago but never really got around to playing it so I think I'm going to go on a short nostalgia trip I think my favorite levels are the free play battle ones where you build up your own base and go attack other bases, it's such a fun and unique mode.
Honestly, outside of how much you like the time periods and actual stories, this was the best lego star wars that still feels like Lego Star Wars. Like the newer ones, I've not played, but just looking at them they seem so different.
This game is very near and dear to me, I played it all the time when I was a kid and I still pick it up occasionally. I can honestly say it's the best lego game I've ever played.
I got this game back in 2012 for my 360 where it came installed on my new HDD. There was a period where I lost interest in Lego games after playing Lego Indiana Jones Trilogy for the Wii which I found to be pretty Mediocre, but it was this game that made me take an interest in them again as it plays out in a different and unique way compared to previous Lego games.
I gotta say, I only played a bit of the 3DS version when I was testing the console back in the day, and honestly, the 3D effects kinda impressed me, because it didn't felt gimmicky or anything like that, but added a little depth in the isometric perspective. It wasn't mindblowing or nothing like that, but it was effective.
Levels were designed around being able to play them on the DS with a D-Pad, so 3D didn't really help that much when making jumps, etc. But it was still nice, and a way to be more precise with your platforming. Mario 3D Land on the other hand heavily benefits from the 3D, and Link Between Worlds as well, but to a lesser degree. I miss playing new games with 3D effects.
This is honesyly one of my favourite lego games just because I remember spending hours playing it on my xbox 360 when I was younger. That and lego Indiana Jones.

I remember playing this on the Ds years ago, a friend let me borrow it in return for letting him borrow Lego Batman for the DS, just found out it came out on consoles so I might buy it when it goes on sale.
Definitely my favorite Lego Star Wars game. I loved all the combat, the levels were fun, lots of good ships. Just wished the character customization was more like what the complete saga had, a better 100 percent reward, and more ships for us to use.
Im a big Clone Wars fan and I loved playing this game on my 3DS but I had no idea there was more content in the mainline consles, i still enjoy playing the 3DS version though, since its what i grew up with!
I played this in 2012 when I only ever saw the original 2d clone wars cartoon and still had fun. Then when I played it in 2022 after watching the cgi show, I loved it so much more.
When I played this game years ago I actually preferred the DS version for being more straight forward whereas the Wii version often left me frustrated on what to do next. I'm sure my opinion may change when I inevitably play both versions again at some point.
As a kid I had this game and the complete saga, and I remember preferring this game. I've gotten older and I still like the clone wars, but I think the source material for TCS makes it better in the end. There's just more variety, which I think is huge for lego games, since the core gameplay is barebones.
best Lego game OAT in my opinion, all of those 2012-2014 games hold a special place in my heart but I think they genuinely are the best (close contenders being Batman 2, Harry Potter 5-7 and Marvel)
This is probably one of the best LEGO games and definitely the best LEGO Star Wars game, it's not really close imo. It has all the cool features to make it a modern LEGO game but it doesn't suffer from the god awful level design of The Skywalker Saga. If you really wanna compare all the LEGO games (Complete Saga, Clone Wars and Skywalker Saga), you can play the Geonosis arena in all 3. I think by just playing that level in all 3 games you genuinely get a pretty good idea of the strength and weaknesses of each game. I planned to make a video about it when The Skywalker Saga came out (finished script, got footage and all that) but I didn't get around to it and the LEGO Star Wars hype had worn off.
granted outside of the graphical differences they seem to be the same game unless some of the stuff mentioned in the 3ds/psp version isnt in the ds ver and he just forgot to mention it
i always remember back than when i was like what 11 years old how my friend butchered me in the rts multiplayer mode and while i dont remember the story on the nintendo i do remember the minigames fondly
This game is one of the few lego games that actually innovated quite a bit on the formula, the other being lego LOTR "pioneering" the open world hub in lego games.
Fives doesnt have a pistol, What he would have in lore would be a DC-15s Carbine, Echo would have a RPS-6 rocket launcher (Fun fact : A Bazooka is a second world war rocket launcher and all modern rocket launchers are not Bazooka's), And Hevy would have a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon I always did love the battle mode, Though it would not be a RTS, I personally am a RTS player so i know, RTS is larger and more from the top, Star wars examples would be Star Wars Empire at War, Star wars Rebellion, And Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds Also you forgot the Two villain levels
This lego game was by far the best. It had the most to do, so much to find, so many missions to do. Character verity was so incredibly plentiful, and they even gave you enough caracters and weapons and and. You get the point. So yes, This is my favorite lego star wars game, and possibly lego game period Ps yeah cant forget all the evil side levels and bounty hunter stuff. And more. This game

best Lego game OAT in my opinion, all of those 2012-2014 games hold a special place in my heart but I think they genuinely are the best (close contenders being Batman 2, Harry Potter 5-7 and Marvel)
My Favorite memory playing this game long ago, is I unlocked General Grievous when I reached 69.0%.
This is probably one of my favorite Lego Games.
I had no idea the PSP/3DS version wasn’t the same as the DS one, I feel stupid now
granted outside of the graphical differences they seem to be the same game
unless some of the stuff mentioned in the 3ds/psp version isnt in the ds ver and he just forgot to mention it
Always wanted a rts style of a Lego star wars game .
Love the content! Would you consider a series on any Avatar the last air bender games? Or SpongeBob games perhaps?
I still remember seeing an ad for this giant epic battles then buying the PSP version because no money for a ps3
I was so disappointed
I can only hope we get a full lego clone wars someday... Not gonna happen is it?...
i always remember back than when i was like what 11 years old how my friend butchered me in the rts multiplayer mode
and while i dont remember the story on the nintendo i do remember the minigames fondly
I personally believe this is the most underrated lego game
This game is one of the few lego games that actually innovated quite a bit on the formula, the other being lego LOTR "pioneering" the open world hub in lego games.
Today officially marks the 13th anniversary of this game
I dont think anyone understands how many hours i spend playing astromech volleyball
i always loved the sow waling yoda with a cane
Fives doesnt have a pistol, What he would have in lore would be a DC-15s Carbine, Echo would have a RPS-6 rocket launcher (Fun fact : A Bazooka is a second world war rocket launcher and all modern rocket launchers are not Bazooka's), And Hevy would have a Z-6 rotary blaster cannon
I always did love the battle mode, Though it would not be a RTS, I personally am a RTS player so i know, RTS is larger and more from the top, Star wars examples would be Star Wars Empire at War, Star wars Rebellion, And Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds
Also you forgot the Two villain levels
This lego game was by far the best. It had the most to do, so much to find, so many missions to do. Character verity was so incredibly plentiful, and they even gave you enough caracters and weapons and and. You get the point. So yes, This is my favorite lego star wars game, and possibly lego game period
Ps yeah cant forget all the evil side levels and bounty hunter stuff. And more. This game
I played the flagship version with my homeboy on duo pc like 7 years ago or so, i think honestly it's the best lego game, sadly it was way to short.
I'm missin times man
