How to paint a pink tree and monotone landscape with acrylic. Easy technique for beginners.
Learning to paint trees can be tricky. There are so many different ways to go about it- but I think this video will show you an easy way to get starter.
Wanted to show you this tiny little tree. It's 18x24 cm witch is a lot smaller then the trees I usually paint.
I painted this on canvas and I wanted to make the background very monotone. The sky, mountains, water etc... all painted in grey tones.
And then, a very colorful tree on top. I love painting with this kind of contrast. Really makes the tree pop and lets it be the center of attention.
I've painted trees for about 15 years and to this day the simple grey landscape is still my favorite background for my trees.
I LOVE painting trees.

I'm pretty happy with how this one turned out - what do think of the color on the tree.
For the painting I used Windsor & Newton Galeria Titanium white, lamp black and Burgundy + Amsterdam Rose quina.
I've made over 60 youtube videos - all with alcohol ink - this is my first tutorial with acrylics.

While I love the photo...a little more direction might be in order. Colors used...something like this will intmidate the real beginners when there are so many out there who talk threw the videos with tips and tricks.

I’m sorry you didn’t like the way I made this video 🙃 there are many different kinds of videos on UA-cam - some showing the process and some also explaining it. This was just me showing “me painting”, hoping some might be inspired to try trees.
I’ll probably make some videos that also includes tips and tricks, but for now this is what you get. (it is actually very time consuming making these videos) And the colors used for this painting are listed in the description for the video 😀
