Great tutorial! One thing I have noticed is that one can get a variety of results from either adding the different colors while the underlying paint is still wet, and then also adding touches of color on top of dry paint. The first will blend more and be softer but the second way can give you nice crisp highlights which might be sunlight hitting just a few leaves :)
Thanks so much for sharing this! I took an interest in painting with acrylics less than 6 months ago and at 67, wish I started years ago. The fan brush in your hand is very like a magic wand - you seem to effortlessly create each tree and make each look 3-dimensional. It's early morning here in Ireland and the gentle, soothing piano soundtrack is perfect for taking in the techniques while sipping my first cup of tea. I've just subscribed to your channel and am going to check out your palette knife paintings next.

The end result looks great, but without any explanation, this is more someone showing off their skills than a tutorial. There’s only so much one can learn from seeing someone taping their brush left and right at high speed.
Amazing! I am a graphite pencil artist, I never had the passion of doing in colours (probably I didn't know how to do), but off-late I had a passion to paint, I came here to check for tree tutorial. The technique though looks simple, but my key task would be the mixing of colours, which I will surely get it soon. Thank you so much for boosting us with confidence!! :-)

*the third tree, the one you painted or drew the entire trunk and all the tiny branches before painting the foliage what did you use to draw the tree trunk? Any brush or skill in particular that you can maybe add in next video

You can see what she is using , the colors , the color mixing and her strokes . You could make the playback speed slower , that might help you .
