When using the tape method you can also paint over the edges of the tape with some white paint first, let that dry and after that use your colors:) the white will fill in the gaps between the paper and the tape so there’s no room for colors to leak in:)

@@jessemolina4233 I like to use the Tesa masking professional sensitive tape (the pink one) it’s not as sticky as others which means it’s not as likely to rip the paper when peeling it off. In case it seems to stick to the paper (for example if you left it on for a very long time), you can try and use a hairdryer to warm up the tape and you should be able to peel it off easier :) I hope that helped:)

Please removed or improve your solution of the Paint with water and add that you can t dilute IT with water for more then 30% as IT Will break the binder and IT Will cause the Paint to damage your painting directory or in short time ( for more indepth I would need to look up the technicall terms and explanation but I know IT is true for all normal acrulic paints even the expensive brands and every known brand. They made mediums to add to Paint to use IT very tuin or very Thick etc. And IT s not sometiñg that's been changed and this a teaching that's faulty, nope, IT still is that way. Thaught to ask you to change your opinion on this as you tracht beginners and so others might Read my warning for this problem.)

One of my favorite abstract techniques (it would go along with stamping) I love to do is take some bubble wrap and brush on a thick layer of paint and stamp it on and it looks super cool! And I love scratching off paint with a plastic fork or plastic knife (so I don’t ruin our actual knives) and you get even lines ☺️

That modeling paste technique looks like it be really cool to use on scenes like a moon for example... it seems like it would make all of those grooves and crevices for you then you'd add your colors to enhance the shadows and the highlights.... right? Maybe..?
Yea, I had the same thought. I also think it might be helpful for things like a volcano or so. But no idea of that really works out, it's been just a thought too!
Yes! You totally could. Modeling paste is layer-able, meaning you can build it up and apply more wet modeling paste on top of dry. This way you could build up a moon or a volcano. You can add textures into the modeling paste and almost "sculpt it" especially if you let it dry a little, but mold it while it is still wet.
