Pretty cool that many people came out to ride in weather that was in the 50s. Your Waverunner was just purring what a beautiful sound that engine made.
Hey captain your channel is very enjoyable to watch and even learn things also. We would love to come down and meet you and ride with your friends at this location. Just to try something different and meet some new people. Great channel. We're following for sure.
Any day on the water is a great day. What a perfect day to set the tone for the rest of the year. Thanks for sharing. Did I see 80 mph on your trip map? Namaste.
Great video Captain Frank. I noticed you had a rack on the back. Did you end up getting a manufactured, purpose built rack? I'm curious which one. Also, does beaching your FX scratch up the hull? I have always anchored mine, although that would be difficult in the cold.
I ended up getting a rack from PWC Super racks when I did the Bimini trip. My self made rack was doing great but I wasn't sure I should risk it doing a crossing to the Bahamas. Turns out, two of my viewers that crossed with me used my self made rack idea and it worked like a dream for them. 🤷🏾♂️. I avoid running my ski up on the beach. No typically get off while it's still floating and I lift/pull it up on the sand. So far, no scratches. 🤞🏾
I was the one riding the GTX limited 300 and that first part was not fun because of the fog then fog and rain then beutiful sky’s it was a great new years tho
Yes it does but I can assure you that my ski does not go that fast. I topped out at 70 on that trip. There are a couple of guys on the ride that do have skis that will easily get into the 80's though. Guess the relive App was not so accurate. 🤣
Cap, how do I join the group? Old boy doesn't have FB lol. My brother , his wife and I are at Holiday Marina. We would love to make it out on those sunday morning runs up the river. Please let us know. Thanks
@@dreknotz1996 Well, the group usually meets at Pelican Pete's at 9 am on the Sundays that they ride. If it's nice weather, there is a pretty good chance they are running.
That depends on how far they go. You can fill up at Port Royale as well as Gainesville Marina along the way so you don't necessarily have to take extra aboard.

Yeah, I was definitely surprised that we had that many people. I wasn't the only one either. 🤣. It does make a great sound doesn't it. ☺️
Best way to start the new year. Looks like you had nice blue skies toward the end too!!
Yessir!!! Looking forward to our ride in March!!
Happy 2023- what a great way to start this year! I hope 2023 is a full year of jet ski abundance for you and ME too! 👍
Thank you!! I am surely looking forward to it!!

I totally agree. We all had a great time. The map did say 80 but that is questionable. 🤣

It absolutely was! The weather could have been better at the beginning but it was still a fun ride!

Hey Cap,
At the @1:54 mark in the video it says 80mph. New surprises for 2023 I see 👀

@@TheShipsLogg Thanks for the heads up!!! Extra fuel required?
