Hi Amber, I studied the violin seriously from age seven through age twenty-one, and then my life took a different direction and I did not touch the instrument for over forty years. Now, at age seventy-two, I have begun trying to play a little; I find I am almost a beginner again! I have always had great difficulty and some pain supporting the instrument with my chin alone. Chin rests and shoulder rests never worked too well. I wasted a lot of energy just supporting the violin. I have to thank you for introducing me (in another video) to the Bonmusica shoulder rest! It is the only comfortable rest I have ever tried! Also, you were the only person on You Tube to demonstrate one important adjustability feature: rotating the little angle bracket to increase the height of the long leg. I am very mechanical, but I would never have thought of this! Love your videos! Keep up the good work!
You should have millions of followers and views. You are unique. Especially considering the world today. My first talent show I played a duet with my teacher! He played the piano and I the violin Minuet #2 from the Suzuki book!
