That's very kind, thank you! I enjoy getting out and making these videos. Just watched your very informative review of the Asta Gear Yun Chuan - it's an interesting shelter for sure ⛺🌲👍
Nice wee trek about the Campsies Jamie, only camped up the Campsies once - Corrie of Balglass...some place! - loved how you threw all your kit down when emptying the rucksack but lovingly sat your beers down - summers coming. 🚤🍻
You're the second person to mention the beers today Dave 🤣 I seem to have my priorities... right! I'm enjoying the Campsies, they're not miles away and are good value for views and landscape. Only explored the western bit of them so far though.
Thanks for that Sandy and thanks for watching ma wee channel. Aye I enjoy having a wee dodge about looking for different spots right enough. More coming soon I'm sure! 👍
Sweet video. Nice shots. That's cool how you found water out there. The Vik 1 is still my favorite freestanding tent. Cheap, light, and fast to pitch. Usually only needs 2 pegs. It has a tiny footprint so was able to wedge it in spots that were too small for other tents.
Aye Rod I’m of exactly the same opinion about that little tent. I see you had the youngsters out and about learning the craft! I’ll be tuning into that later, also need to watch your speed hiking vid, sounds like that might be hard work! 🏃♂️ 🎒 😆 Cheers man 👍🏻
@@campingcaledonia76 Yeah it was nice to have family around. It's been fun trying to head to ultralight for fastpacking. I never liked running so it's a journey. Using muscles I hardly used so been sore 😅
Great vid, loved the way you casually threw everything including the fuel bottle onto the rocky ground except the can of beer which you carefully put down 😄 Good tent I had the Vik 2.
🤣 Priorities Bob! Yes I enjoy using the Vik 1, it’s far from palatial and has its wee foibles but its price, pack size and weight makes it a wee winner in my book. Thanks for tuning in and dropping a comment 👍🏻 🏕️
Great vid Jamie! That was a lot of stuff you packed in there! Didn’t get the beer review though 😢😂 Some weather! Maybe we’ll meet up when yer up North soon!? 😊
Thanks Andy :) Yeah I was cream crackered and even only had one of the two beers I brought along! I'm up north soon aye so lets get something sorted. Will give you a shout.
I parked in Killearn. Appreciate the sub man and thanks for taking the time to tune in. Will check your channnel and get a sub on there too. Cheers Dougie 👍
Yes I believe NH did a green VIK 2? I'd love to see the VIK1 in Khaki. I've recently purchased a Khaki 3ful Lanshan 1 from you, it was delivered last week! 🤩
Very nice video 🤗👍🌞

I’ve walked up Dumgoyne a few times but never camped there.
Where did you park?

@@campingcaledonia76Thanks man, I appreciate it. Must try to do Dumgoyne again this summer.
In fact, I once suggested NH to release khaki, but they were unwilling.

@@campingcaledonia76 grateful. The fastest we can deliver to the UK is 8 days, usually 9-11 days.
